@raging_grannie @malloryyestelle As a former lecturer in Early Childhood Education, I had student teachers who had some major health issues e.g. Crohn’s disease, anxiety, depression, infections etc I encouraged them to stay at home until they were well

I have always been of the view that it is the Gymnast who makes the decision about whether they will compete. No amount of coercion, insistence, claims of ‘weakness’ should ever be used by a coach or anyone in fact, to make a gymnast compete a routine. They know their body best
