@Cernovich If very recent events don't get the Republicans off their arses, out of their corner, and swinging like billy-o, they might as well just give up and go home.
By now you should have worked out that wind energy is among the greatest frauds in the history of human civilisation. And if you have even half the curiosity you were born with, you know by now that solar, at a mere 11% capacity factor, is a waste of minerals and land. You'll also have spotted that the EV rollout is just a scam to get you to buy a wind turbine backup battery.
If you've worked that out, you also know that blowing up our coal stations was moronic and that we needed to act on a new nuclear fleet more than a decade ago. You also know that EV rollout to an unrealistic deadline is is catastrophically stupid and will destroy the European auto industry.
You also probably know that the range and duration of EVs is all priced into the Net Zero scheme - and it's no coincidence the policy focus is on fifteen minute cities. If you given that even the slightest scrutiny then you know that's middle class liberal fantasy nonsense. Putting it politely.
You've also probably worked out that recycling is a giant con. In fact, there isn't a single facet of Net Zero that's beneficial to humanity. As much as the 2050 target is unachievable it is not remotely affordable. The money does not exist to upgrade the grid, street level energy infrastructure, housing or road networks. You also know that heat pumps are an idiotic gimmick and not remotely suitable for at least half of Britain's housing stock and not useful in a temperate island climate. You also know that insulation won't make a meaningful difference to Britain's energy usage. It's just a subsidy bonanza for cowboy contractors. Just like last time it was in fashion.
If you know all this, you've probably debated the issues and you've experienced the same thing I have. They'll tell you some magic gizmo is just around the corner that will make their pet boondoggle viable, or claim that it already works based on their extremely limited personal experience. They'll have posted links to some experimental demonstrator project that will never be usefully upscaled or heard of again.
You'll be well aware that this "green revolution" will not create jobs because making energy more expensive never does - and the moment government makes an industry a job creation scheme it will collapse under the weight of its own inefficiency. You also know that gigafactories in the UK, with energy costs as they are, and with China controlling all the key minerals, is yet another unrealisable government meme.
You also don't need me to tell you that Net Zero is a transition to a mineral intensive energy system that will require 900x the current levels of mineral extraction, and that process is not remotely green and relies on mass abuse of human rights.
If you've worked all that out then you know there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to vote Labour, Tory or Lib Dem. They will do more to destroy the British economy and its infrastructure than the Luftwaffe could ever have dreamed.
