@judeoborean@CR1337 This is a terrible excuse by Microslop. They can just architect the OS to have the WebView component separate from Edge. But nah, let's just implement it the most hostile way possible.
@YEAccount1@lobotomy_user It's a dirty trick to screw consumers over. I don't support your argument at all. Most software that let's you do this: Just makes you pay the year plan in full up front, so there's no need to have a "cancel early" option.
@jdsdatadev @dpkostka@samirande_ Any language can be spaghetti if the programmer is bad. So that honestly just sounds like skill issues on your end. Also: PHP can run on anything now, so your argument is invalid.
@de_henne @_trish_xD Literally every zoomer addicted to React, and use it everywhere (even where it doesn't belong), calls everything else trash, and refuse to use anything else.
@AdamPippert@rqobela PHP is actually insanely good now. It has a bad reputation from poorly coded/maintained WordPress plugins, and old versions of PHP. And blind hate-trains on social media.
@jrm4@dn0238383776781@thibz00@josebetandcourt@Xeer It makes ZERO sense what you're saying here.
How is 72-75 F any less arbitrary than 22-24 C? The argument is just not making any sense. It's just because you're used to it, so it "feels" more convinient to you.
@josebetandcourt@BazaritoDorito@Xeer The "human experience" just sounds like a case of "I'm used to Fahrenheit, and don't feel like learning to use Celsius" ahh argument.
@Thomasmarkelly@PovilasKorop In the case of Stripe: If the webhook returns anything but 200 OK: They'll send another ping again after a few mins until it goes through. I'd say it's pretty robust if you actually return your error codes properly. Not sure how other providers handle it.
@PovilasKorop I think the undeserved hate of PHP also turns a lot of people away from the Laravel eco system. The sad part is that a lot of the hate come from people who's never touched it, or hasn't since it was version 5.x or something. It's just social media hate trains.
