Olamide has not only dominated the music game for years now but also played a pivotal role in the rise of artistes; Like Lil Kesh, Asake, Adekunle Gold, Fireboy, Zlatan, Bella, and many more. Even the likes of Portable gained stardom thanks to Olamide's influence. Many of the music and artistes Nigerians hype today (that keeps the afrobeats movement going) is as a result of Olamide's mindset to create, and gift. When it also comes to hit songs, that is, songs that actually has lyrical quality, no artiste from his era can go toe to toe with him. Comparing him with colleague who started before, or after him is beyond disrespectful. Which other artiste has that longevity, street impact, successful record label, and can be linked to the success of rising stars? He is one of one.
