Our friends at @SSV_Network just announced Compose, their new ZK interop layer.
Compose is built on OP Succinct, demonstrating the power and flexibility of our technology. Stay tuned for more updates on their roadmap!
Ethereum has client diversity. Ethereum has the greatest economic security and the highest total cost of attack. Ethereum has a concept of finality. Ethereum has the greatest geographic validator distribution. Ethereum is immune to the centralizing impact of the huge capital expense driving wasteful proof of work systems. Ethereum has no security budget issue. Ethereum's future is bright and secure. Ethereum is built for eternity.
Ethereum is programmable. Ethereum is home to the future of finance. Ethereum is home to the New Internet. Ethereum is home to the most cypherpunk causes of the modern world. Ethereum is home to you.
Ethereum is the greatest network in the lightcone. Ether is the most pristine asset on Ethereum, shares in its glory, and is therefore the ultimate mechanism to acquire burgers and milkshakes.
Today's slashing incident (39 validators) root cause has been identified. There is no issue with the client software or SSV's software. This is another slashing event caused by operator error.
Looking forward to the post mortem doc and any learnings may that come from it.
🚨 Update on Slashing Incident 🚨
tl;dr – SSV is NOT compromised, you don’t need to take any action!
- Earlier today, several validators were slashed.
- One incident involved @ankr validators: https://t.co/rJBJqsR9og
- After reviewing logs and speaking directly with Ankr, they confirmed that maintenance on their end caused the slashing.
- A second incident involved a 7-operator cluster. That validator had migrated from Allnodes about two months ago.
- We suspect a secondary validator setup triggered the slashing and are continuing to investigate.
- We looked at logs from both incidents and found NOTHING that indicates double signing or failure on SSV side
- A full post-mortem will be published soon on the SSV Twitter.
Not every L2 has a billion-dollar company behind it like @coinbase and @RobinhoodApp.
But with based rollups and synchronous composability,
even the smallest rollups can flourish and compete.
🔹 Seamless UX
🔹 Shared security
🔹 Equal opportunity
The future of Ethereum is open to all.

Introducing Anchor v0.1.0
Our new Rust-based distributed validator technology (DVT) client for @ssv_network. This marks a major milestone for Ethereum decentralisation, bringing more resilience and diversity to the network and to DVT.
👇
Major Upgrade!⚓
Anchor, our second DVT client built by @sigp_io, is now live on testnet.
This marks a significant milestone in the decentralization of both DVT and Ethereum.
Anchor is designed to work seamlessly alongside the mainnet client, giving operators greater flexibility and client diversity.
What does this mean?
✅ Greater resilience through client diversity
✅ Enhanced decentralization
✅ Improved modularity for operators

There are now more than 1,000,000 validators on Ethereum.
34,570,000 ETH committed to staking.
$86,000,000,000 worth of economic security.
Soon, any application will be able to tap into this security without extra staked ETH.
This is the promise of Based Applications.
The future is based.
