Huh, I wonder what could’ve happened in late 2020 early 2021 that would have caused a hiring spike well above pre-trend
I guess it’s just impossible to know
monad raised $225M in their last round. it's been 2 years and they still have no testnet
hyperliquid has raised $0 and has a very successful & functioning mainnet
i'm convinced there is an inverse correlation between amount raised and success within a category
SCOOP: My latest investigation exposes how DPRK IT workers have embedded themselves deep into the fabric of the crypto industry.
More than a dozen projects confirmed that they inadvertently hired workers from the DPRK – exposing themselves to massive security and legal risks.

The solo stalker discussion really highlights two camps in crypto:
- those who believe crypto is akin to digital gold with decentralization as the main selling point
- those who believe it’s the future of finance
I know which side I’m on
community note is insane cope
As the labor power of individuals falls, especially young men, games are going to increasingly provide an escape from a world that acts like it doesn’t have any use for them
Break from the matrix while you can
I think the worst thing you can do as a parent is buy a video game system for your kid.
No worse habit in the world.
There is a direct correlation with being overweight, single, lonely, broke and depressed.
My kids will never own one.
The rate of return on capital is about to skyrocket past the rate of return on labor/the growth rate
If you haven’t accumulated capital yet now’s the time
Dunks on this miss how rapidly incentives can shift with rising total factor productivity. Return to capital are simply priced more accurately than returns to labor. "Founder as a career" isn't an influencer trend it's a rational response to labor power cratering overnight.
Have been in crypto full time for 7 years and this still happens to me.
1) Go to send USDC onchain
2) Don't have the native token in the wallet
3) I need the native token for gas to make the txn
4) Go to swap for the token (again bc I need it for gas)
5) Can't make the txn because I don't have gas!
So now I need to either buy the token in an app like coinbase or make a crosschain swap?
Can't tell if my brain is fried because it's Friday end of day or if crypto UX truly still sucks.
There must be a better way.
