@JFreshHockey There’s a small ceremony in a provincial park near our house we go to and people leave their poppies on the ledge after their ceremony. I’m not sure if anyone collects them after, but I thought it was a nice touch and a nice way to get rid of our poppies too.

@RachelKryshak While I agree about the first two points, I wish it was as easy as brunch. My kids have sports all weekend mornings. Even if I try to watch delayed (which I will) the odds of me making it through unspoiled are nil.

Agree about the rest of the league, but with different ownership here, shopping him to NJ then selling anything else not nailed down is probably the better route long term than whatever the current plan is.

@DobberHockey How much of his high point total was because he rode shotgun with a peak Pettersson on a Boudreau run team? After that he’s basically been a PP guy/4th liner, right? So I think his value depends on destination? Crap team that can play him high? 60 pts. Good team? 35-40 pts.

But the owner sucks, so despite us all knowing how it’ll end up he’ll play the next two years here on at best bubble teams, then off to NJ

@dannykellywords @VFTLpodcast @SpursOfficial I’m a teacher & it’s report card writing this weekend. At halftime I got the laptop and got through half a class with the match in the background. Was able to walk away from the full time whistle feeling productive with the rest of the day ahead of me (I’m on Canada’s west coast)
