Some franchises aren’t capable of supporting their legends the right way.
Jokic was on a path to becoming one of the Top 10 players to ever play basketball.
That wasn’t realistic in Denver.
I am an SGA fan, but if a guy who averages a triple double and leads the league in rebounds and assists is not the MVP, I don’t know what the definition is.
This is NOT an MVP debate. The MVP voting is silly and slanted at times. This is just an observation:
A center just finished the season as the NBA leader in assists and rebound average (1st time ever) and 7th in scoring.
A center did that.
A center.
Bill Simmons says if you replace Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with Brandin Podziemski, the Thunder would still win 50 games 😅

Here’s the thing:
Wemby keeps qualifying talking about Jok with best “OFFENSIVE” player in the world.
He clearly thinks he is the best. But if his defense is SO above to make that difference Jok would simply not be averaging 37-11-9 against him.
Play some defense Wemby.
40-8-13 and ZERO turnovers against the best defender in the world.
Clutch buckets for the win including a Sombor Shuffle. Incredible to get to follow this guy's career.
MPJ says Nikola Jokic is the greatest of all time
“People will say Michael Jordan just to agree, but they haven’t watched the film… From what I’ve seen day to day, I haven’t seen anybody as dominant as Nikola”
