wooooaw this statement sangat amat durkheim…. afaik menurut dia power sebuah komunitas tuh bukan dari jumlah anggotanya aja tapi dari seberapa strong ikatan di antara mereka. banyak massa tapi longgar yaaaa at the end cuma ramai ajaah which means kalau ada momen penting belum tentu bisa gerak bareng.

kl soal fandom yang diremehin karena lawannya 'fandom besar' itu malahan jadi dorongan suatu kelompok itu semakin solid karena ada shared valent event yang membuat mereka jadi semakin terikat soo jangan aneh kalau melihat komunitas yang “keliatannya” kecil tapi gerakannya sesolid dan semasif itu, karena mereka ya… simply bukan hal baru. malahan kelompok “kecil” itu lebih efektif bergerak karena free ridernya lebih sedikit ALIASSS keluar dari bubble sendiri deh so you could see how big the society is

Tolak ukur sesuatu itu bukan soal banyak massanya tapi sejauh mana effort dan solid orangnya. Lupa ya kalo fandom itu selalu “berkembang”? beberapa dari mereka pun punya historis diremehkan krn melawan “fandom besar” di masanya sampai mereka akhirnya bisa jd yg sekarang.
