When both Argentina and Switzerland were numerically the same, the Swiss were in control of the game and could have led if they finished off their chances, especially in the second half but the game took a swift turn after a red card to Embolo.
What is true;
1. Embolo was already on a yellow card
2. Paredes went for a challenge to stop a Swiss attack
3. The ref spotted it and instantly sounded his whistle, gave Paredes a yellow card for the late tackle.
4. VAR are allowed to review every yellow card issued by the ref and the Paredes’ own wasn’t different. Whilst the review was on, they saw that the Argentine didn’t deserve the booking because the player who many thought had been fouled, actually dived.
5. The ref was told to look at the on pitch screen and then found out the Swiss player dived.
6. The ref knew he’s been tricked by Embolo. Apologised to Paredes, chalked off the yellow card and was furious at Embolo and gave him the punishment he gave to the Argentine midfielder and unfortunately Embolo was already on a yellow.
7. Two yellows turn red and Embolo was sent off.
What is lie;
1. The ref rigged the game.
2. Embolo shouldn’t have received the second yellow card.
Embolo let his country down. He cried himself off the pitch and will forever remember this moment.
In 2026, where cameras are everywhere, players on yellow cards still dive?

MENTALITY. 🧠
🚨 An old Facebook post from Zico , the same guy who claimed Argentina robbed Egypt
"Every single matchday Barça fans keep talking about the refs ,Bro y'all don't even win in the first place. Win a game first, then come talk about the refereeing. And yeah... we love robbery "
What a clown 🤣🤣🤣

The Argentinian player covered his mouth while saying things to opposition Goalkeeper and still didn't a RED???? Rigged , Robb...........Oh, it's a FRENCH player. Then it's fine!
Son: Dad, I just finished watching Messi's full 2022 and 2026 World Cup highlights.
Father: Don't waste your time. FIFA rigged both tournaments for him.
Son: Really? That's what you've been saying for 20 years.
Father: Of course. FIFA wanted him to win.
Son: I'm confused though...
Father: About what?
Son: I saw Messi miss a penalty. Did FIFA tell him to miss it?
Father: Well... no.
Son: Then I watched him dribble through defenders, split defenses with impossible passes, score free-kicks, curl shots into the top corner and create assists that nobody else even saw.
Did FIFA tell him exactly where to pass?
Father: That's... not what I mean.
Son: Did FIFA teach him how to dribble five players? Did FIFA tell defenders to let him glide past them? Did FIFA tell goalkeepers to stand still while he buried free-kicks into the top corner?
Father: Well...
Son: Did FIFA control his first touch? His vision? His balance? His left foot? Did FIFA tell Julian Alvarez, Di Maria, Enzo Fernandez and the rest of Argentina to finish the chances Messi created?
Father: You're missing the point.
Son: I'm actually trying to find the point.
If FIFA rigged it, why did Messi still have to run, create chances, score goals, give assists, beat defenders and perform every single game?
Why didn't FIFA just hand him the trophy before the tournament started?
Father: That's not how rigging works.
Son: Then explain it to me.
Because from what I watched, all I saw was a football genius doing football genius things.
The only explanation I've heard is FIFA rigged it.
But every time I ask how, nobody can explain what FIFA actually did to make Messi play like that.
Father: Son... some things are better left unquestioned.
Son: So after 20 years... the evidence is still just "trust me"?
Son: I get it now.
People can argue over trophies forever.
But nobody can rig vision.
Nobody can rig dribbling.
Nobody can rig genius.
That's why the highlights are still convincing people decades later.
He won titles with Barcelona — “comfort zone.”
He won Ligue 1 — “Farmers League.”
He won MLS — “rigged and scripted.”
He won the World Cup — “rigged and scripted.”
He won the Copa América — “they organize it every year just so he can win.”
He won 8 Ballon d’Ors — “robbed.”
He won 6 European Golden Boots — “irrelevant.”
He has the most assists in football history — “assists don’t matter.”
He dribbles past opponents — “they don’t tackle him properly.”
He scores free kicks — “they’re too close, and the goalkeepers just let them in.”
Other big national teams failed to beat small teams so could play against his team — “It’s his fault and FIFA’s.”
He’s humble — “it’s all an act.”
No matter what Lionel Messi achieves, the goalposts keep moving. Meanwhile he is just there chilling and enjoying his football. 😂
At what point do you simply accept that you’re witnessing the greatest footballer the game has ever seen?
Aren’t you all tired?
