「Unleash Chiang」 是美國保守派/反共鷹派圈子裡一個很老的冷戰時期俚語，源自1950年代：

- 當時蔣介石（Chiang Kai-shek）退守台灣，美國第七艦隊封鎖台灣海峽，不讓國民黨軍隊「反攻大陸」。
- 一些極右翼團體（如約翰·伯奇協會）和反共強硬派喊出“Unleash Chiang!”（釋放蔣介石！），意思是：**把束縛解開，讓他放手去打，把共產黨徹底幹掉**。

後來這個片語變成了一種誇張的「全力猛攻、不留情面、放大招」的比喻。
甚至布希家族內部還拿它當玩笑（例如老布希打網球前喊一句「Unleash Chiang!」意思是我要開始狂轟濫炸了）。
