@BeausWife2 Thank you! Yesterday, the media kept asking, "Where was security?" instead of asking, "Why are BLM protesters treated so brutally and these white insurrectionists so leniently?" The answers to both are the same, but the questions paint a very different picture of the event.
@BeausWife2@BeauTFC Yes, I have both an iron and ironing board. They saw a lot of use this spring when I was making cloth masks for our local community. I also use them occasionally for various, less pandemic-related sewing projects ... and, apparently, a cat bed when I'm not in the room.
This was a fun way to start the day (nope). Honestly, with the way this year has gone, I'm more surprised by all the things it missed than the one relatively unimportant thing it hit.
if you're not for social justice, what are you for? if not for climate stability, then what exactly? if you're not for biodiversity and for racial harmony, what are you for?? questions worth asking. good trouble.
It's looking like we've turned the corner at my house, so I'm going to tell you a story about love and a pandemic. It starts two weeks ago Monday. I taught class that morning, but by lunch I knew something was up. By afternoon, I knew I was sick.
The people I can't help but think of are all the health care professionals, like @JodiDoering, that keep going back, day after day to care for so many Covid patients ... whether or not those patients understand just how much their care-givers are risking by being there for them.

"Pres. Trump appears to be desperately, even pathetically fighting to keep a job he has no apparent interest in responsibly performing."
