The graph below shows the manifestation of covid19 in the state of Minnesota.
> Deaths were highest in the shutdown period
> Virulence in the general population hasn't materialized
> Deaths outside long term care have steadily averaged 3/day no matter what the policy or mandate
Remarkable covid survival stats you won't see widely reported 👇
With 80,000+ infected people tracked in MN…
> There are more deaths age 90+ than age 70 and under
> 99.92% covid survival outside long term care
> Average age of death is 6 yrs beyond life expectancy

@JamesTodaroMD Not nothing - be fair, please. It keeps me from spittling on others, and them from 'speaking moistly' on me. :) If droplets are the carrier, it at least keeps my spit to myself as intended.
@paul_blume@covid_clarity It's a tough one. LTC deaths aren't overall up significantly over previous years, and those causes of death are sometimes mixed with other causes. All dear people! But trajectory of improving treatments mean less fear every day for me.

@TheComboBreaker Thanks for your reply.
In MN, the chance of survival from covid if you are not in a long term care facility is about 99.93%. It's much much lower than 1% lethal. That's not my data- it is according to MN Dept of Health and CDC data.
Now after 1 million tests and tracking 60,000 infected people, we have plenty of data to assess risk in MN.
Based on the CDC estimate of 10:1 actual cases to detected cases, the approximate covid fatality rate is:
> 0.27% for all MN
> 0.07% outside long term care

Dr. Harvey Risch, MD/PhD from the department of epidemiology at Yale responds to the senseless attack and attempt to discredit him for his research on hydroxychloroquine.
He strongly hints at the reasons why...
https://t.co/YrTJp4CN9Y
1/ Dr. Fauci is misleading the American people when he says that randomized controlled trials have shown hydroxychloroquine to be ineffective.
Here’s why.
Governor Mike DeWine just announced he's now reversing the decision to block hydroxychloroquine prescriptions for treatment of COVID-19 in Ohio.
As I said yesterday, this should be a decision between patients and their doctors.
It looks like the governor got the message.
This was supposed to be a helluva week.
The MN covid model said every hospital bed in the entire state would be filled w/ covid patients & the recently purchased makeshift morgue would be filled w/ bodies.
Thankfully, the model was well off the mark.
How far off?
See below.
Amid media hysteria, TX, FL, AZ, and CA have been criticized for their covid19 response. And recently Dr. Fauci praised the response of New York.
How quickly some forget the facts. See below.
