@DRMacIver Also, Git relies on Git UIs, which are usually horrible and sometimes vaguely tolerable. Remember, artists and designers have to use this! It needs to be as user-friendly as Perforce and Perforce honestly does a rather good job at this.
@DRMacIver whoops didn't see this, dunno if *you'll* see it. Git LFS is kind of . . . janky? It just doesn't work well, in my experience, it's slow and glitchy and confusing. Maybe it's gotten better but everyone I know who's tried it has bailed.
