Footage shows Pakistani army soldiers learning and firing the QBZ-191 assault rifle, and the QBU-10 and CS/LR4 sniper rifles equipped with auto-adjusting scope system, during the China-Pakistan Karakoram-2026 joint army training on October 17, demonstrating interoperability between the two militaries.

All the weapons and equipment in the joint army training were provided by China, including multiple types of small arms, ZLT-11 armored assault vehicles and ZBL-08 infantry fighting vehicles, as well as artillery, unmanned and anti-unmanned systems.

Focusing on joint counter-terrorism operations in high-altitude areas, the activity includes skills training in UAV operation, on-the-move target search and firing, and long-range sniping, and cover joint command and live-force exercises. This is the first joint army training between the two countries, which will help the two sides deepen cooperation and strengthen interoperability in counter-terrorism.
