DUNE putting out a full trilogy in 5 years is absolutely insane for modern franchise filmmaking like when is the next time we will get a series with this level of quality in such a short timespan
I’m not sure how anyone (not working in the industry) following the NBA is supposed to make sense of all of this.
I think the complexity of the CBA leading to the polarizing responses on the trade itself. Where other GMs seem 2b more in line with Brad opposed to the media/fans
You can't extend beyond what is allowable via an extend-and-trade for six months. That allows Brown to only add one year (it can't be more than four years total, including what is left on the deal).
Players who aren't on expiring contracts (or two years with an option), can't extend after the season starts. That six-month restriction won't expire until after the season starts. That means Brown is limited to one year if he wants it right now.
People are going to talk about Giannis Antetokounmpo, and they should because he and Nikola Jokić are the two best players in the league, but don’t sleep on how important the Heat getting Bobby Portis is. Bobby’s ability to shoot from the 3-point line and his toughness, he will be a major part of the Heat success!
