Spent part of today doing DIY with my two teenage girls over a video call as I m currently in Nigeria . My job was basically troubleshooting whenever they got stuck and nudging them to figure things out themselves instead of jumping in with the answers.

It was absolutely hilarious. Between the constant chatter, debates, laughter, and occasional “Dad, what do we do now?!” moments, progress was slow but we got there in the end.

Nothing beats watching young people build confidence by solving problems on their own even if it comes with plenty of entertainment along the way!

So my 16 year old daughter is done with her GCSE waiting for college in September.She comes to me to say she wants to volunteer between now and September to get work experience into her CV.She wants to work for free just to get work experience.Environment is everything.Nigeria needs to work bc I don’t see her peers in my village having this opportunity

I understand what it means when you have access to schooling and both volunteering at young age to get experience weather u want to become an entrepreneur or 9 to 5.The exposure is a major factor for future growth
