Conceptually there isn't really anything new here, I suppose I'm already familiar with functional programming concepts - just never been restricted to *only* functional programming by the language at hand.

Syntax takes practice, but such is the case with learning any new skill.

But Haskell is probably the *most* syntactically different language from those I am already familiar with. Or maybe I just feel that way because it's new.

@ortetproject @databae_ I have also heard this! But Rust is too mainstream and I'm trying to gain some indie creds. JK JK 😆, I did spend a brief moment on Rust a couple years ago and it's definitely worth revisiting.
