@BeePlayingGames Yeah, they made one *controversial* game with mixed reception. IW made MWII 2.0, OG MW2 which was in constant development hell and had insane balance issues including the one man army/tubes combo, and they are now making a sad amalgamation of MWII and MWIII but clunky as fuck.
@the_cr0w_b0t@ItsLethalTTV You've missed the entire point. SBMM doesn't facilitate mastering skills. It punishes it. And your response to that is pure copium.
@XelatheBrotaku@PhotoModeGamer If you don't think MWII 2.0 wasn't trying to immerse people in some half-assed form of an "operator" game where slow, tactical (campy) gameplay wasn't SEVERELY awarded minus abusing stupid movement mechanics like snaking, your whole opinion isn't worth a grain of salt.
@sc0nesandc0ffee@ItsLethalTTV I got dogwalked for years as a kid and only got better because of it. I also still had fun. Not everything should be a constant engagement handout.
@Eagle858tv@ItsLethalTTV You'd notice a difference. Every lobby would be different. Playstyles would vary. You'd have unique experiences and improved network connection every game. Sometimes a random good player would do better and that's okay. CoD was like that for over a decade and it was a blast.
@seven_corners_@ItsLethalTTV It entertained me from 2007 to 2019. 12 years of entertainment from being in my childhood to being a full-time employed adult. CoD was successful that entire timeframe.
@MoRpH3uSYT@ItsLethalTTV This, however, means the initial fill is made purely based on ping/connection. The team balancing happens after finding the best connected players for the lobby. Understand terms like these to have more informed positions.
@MoRpH3uSYT@ItsLethalTTV You just described SBMM, not team balancing. Team balancing happens after the lobby is filled. It is where the system, normally based on SPM (score-per-minute), calculates who is the "best" player in the lobby, and normally pairs them against the more stacked players, POST fill.
@Mert_Turkey_35@SNTRYTHEDFIANT@PhotoModeGamer The fact you'd consider MWII to be as "classic as it gets" with "no movement" tells me all I need to know. You could do some stupid crap all the way back in CoD4. Every OG CoD had stable and easy jumpshotting and fast asf dropshotting. You could do NEITHER in MWII.
