India’s young protesters faced surveillance, arrests, pellet guns & baton charges after exposing corruption in the education system. The government called them cockroaches. The "cockroaches" forced concessions. Never underestimate people who stop being afraid of their rulers.
India’s Cockroach movement is a lesson:
When elites dehumanize people, the people can reclaim the insult, organize around it and make the powerful regret ever opening their mouths.
India, the world's largest democracy is dying under Modi.
Props to the students with their fists in the air fighting against authoritarianism. We see you.

Tear gas and batons. Suspended metro services and mobile internet. Reported unnecessary and excessive use of force against peaceful protesters. Demonstrators in India were marching towards parliament to demand the resignation of a Union education minister following alleged examination paper leaks that affected millions of students. The Delhi Police responded with violent crackdowns.
Indian authorities must ensure that all allegations of unlawful conduct against these Cockroach Party-led protests are promptly, independently, and impartially investigated.
Congratulations to you. Children are innocent and lovable. Those 168 children that your boss killed in the school in Minab, and you justified, were also children. When you kiss your baby, think of the mothers of those children.
Both Indian and Israeli news have a countdown clock to Trump's deadline against Iran. That's how these guys normalise mass killings as if it's a celebration. @aroonpurie
