Powerful words from @Gisha_Access@taniahary to UN Security Council meeting on #Israel & #Palestine.
"Our allies & potential allies are being silenced by false accusations of antisemitism, which undermine the necessary fight against real & dangerous forms of antisemitism."
A resolution for ‘end Jew hatred day’ just passed in @NYCCouncil. The resolution’s name is set up to make it impossible to oppose—after all, who wouldn’t oppose anti-Jewish hate? But there’s more to the story here…so let’s talk about the org & people behind the resolution...

The idea that all work to hold Israel accountable for HR violations is just antisemitism & a threat to all Jews, only makes sense if:
1- Palestinians don't exist
2- Israeli apartheid doesn't exist
3- All Jews are responsible for Israel's actions.
All of these are lies!
On the 4th anniversary of the worst antisemitic massacre in US history, major Jewish orgs are outside the UN spouting racist incitement against Palestinians and accusing human rights organizations of causing antisemitic violence. A shocking and horrifying display. 🧵
🧵Now: Jewish journalists and activists from Israel, U.S. and the U.K. stand outside the Federal Chancellery in Berlin in solidarity with Palestinian and other anti-apartheid activists in Germany who are being silenced by their government, which accuses them of “antisemitism”
Incredibly meaningful to hear @TareqBaconi explain Palestinian resistance to apartheid at a conference on holocaust remembrance, here in Berlin. Thank you, Tareq and conference organizers, for pushing back against conflation of antisemitism and fighting for Palestinian rights
