Today on Father’s Day, we recognize the courageous dads standing up to the CCP to protect their families. The CCP has tried to silence courageous fathers, but nothing will stop these brave fathers from preserving their child’s memory and seeking justice.
We stand with Kwok Yin-Sang, Dong Jianbiao, Zhao Linhai, Jiang Peikun, Wu Dingfu, Yuan Kezhi, Shi Feng, Wu Xuehan, and all dads who sacrifice their own safety to protect their children from the CCP.
Chairman @RepMoolenaar calls for China to immediately release U.S. citizen Min Zin, who was lured to China on false pretenses and unjustly detained.
Time and time again, China’s actions speak for themselves, and the message is crystal clear. The CCP can’t be trusted. American businesses should take note.
Yesterday was the birthday of Xi Jinping — genocidal dictator of Communist China.
Xi pushes a particular brand of evil, brazenly attempting to destroy Western civilization and harming his own citizens in his mission for power and control.
So today, the Senate marked his birthday by passing my resolution condemning his numerous abuses and atrocities. We should treat Xi like the tyrant he is.
Seven years ago, millions of #HongKongers took to the streets to defend the freedoms and autonomy they were promised. The world must not forget their courage or the #CCP’s broken promises. Political prisoners must be freed, and the work of defending the liberties that made #HongKong a beacon of opportunity and prosperity must continue.
Wang Dan: A man of bold courage in the face of CCP-sponsored brutality at the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre.
A student at Peking University, and only 20 years old, Wang helped spark what grew into one of the largest pro-democracy demonstrations in modern history. This earned him a spot on the most-wanted student protest leaders list by the Chinese Communist Party. Twice arrested by the Chinese government, Wang was exiled to the United States in 1998 and has continued his political activism to speak critically of the CCP.
The Select Committee stands with the heroes – both renowned and unsung - of the Chinese people’s pursuit of freedom and democracy.
The PRC's #TransnationalRepression reaches across the globe. From diaspora communities and universities to foreign officials and international organizations, Beijing seeks to silence critics and shape narratives through intimidation, coercion, and harassment.

37 years ago today, the Chinese Communist Party ordered the People's Liberation Army to open fire on its own people. Peaceful students demanding freedom were murdered by the military and the CCP still censors every mention of it.
The world must never forget.
今天中国民主党温哥华党员在中共国中领馆前和林思齐公园的六四烛光悼念晚会中为中国争取民主自由呐喊!
Today, members of the China Democracy Party of Vancouver gathered at the Chinese Consulate in Vancouver and at the June 4th Candlelight Vigil in David Lam Park, calling for democracy, freedom, and justice in China.
It's been 37 years since the June 1989 Tiananmen Massacre, when countless peaceful pro-democracy protesters were killed in Beijing.

The memory of Tiananmen reminds us that human rights, democracy & freedom must never be taken for granted. #Taiwan🇹🇼 will continue engaging with the international community to uphold these shared values and strengthen democratic resilience.
A decade after Uyghur entrepreneur Ekpar Asat disappeared into the CCP’s detention system, his parents were finally allowed a 10-minute prison visit through glass. They barely recognized their son.
The @FT reports that while China claims the camps are closed, Xinjiang now has the world’s highest prison detention capacity relative to population, with forced labor, surveillance, family separation, and cultural erasure continuing under a new phase of repression.
The CCP’s campaign against the Uyghur people did not end. It evolved.
@ChinaSelect will continue exposing these atrocities and fighting to ensure American companies are not complicit in forced labor and genocide.

Thirty-seven years after peaceful protesters in China were killed for demanding political reform and democratic freedoms, we remember their extraordinary courage and pay tribute to those who stand up to authoritarianism.
Today, Canadians honour the memory of all who lost their lives, were injured or went missing during the Tiananmen Square crackdown on June 4, 1989. Canada stands with the survivors and the families and loved ones who continue to demand accountability.
