Minnesotans deserve better than another expensive boondoggle that’s opposed by local businesses and residents.

Light Rail costs 10 times more than Bus Rapid Transit and should not be a priority when property taxes are already way too high in Hennepin County.

As governor, I will ensure Minnesota renews its focus to invest in core infrastructure like roads and bridges and flexible options for transit, instead of empty trains that get more expensive by the minute.

Hennepin County, home to Minneapolis, took in more federal spending than any other county in America over an 18 month stretch.
A study found more than $286 billion was committed there. A large share is tied to Medicare and health contracts.
That is the same Minnesota system where investigators keep uncovering massive Medicaid and healthcare fraud.
It is hard to look at those two facts in the same county and pretend they have nothing to do with each other. Taxpayers already know where a lot of that money went.
What they deserve is for someone to be held accountable for the fraud.

Minneapolis Police RAID Ihan Omar's Son's Apartment SEIZE Weapons and Ammo.

Police executed a search warrant Tuesday night at the apartment of Rep. Ilhan Omar’s son, Adnan Omar.

Law enforcement sources say officers recovered guns and ammunition and arrested his roommate, Abdulrahman Abdi.

The search warrant was conducted after a traffic stop for Abdulrahman after a illegal weapon was found in vehicle

Roommate Abdulrahman Abdi, 22, was arrested on a weapons charge after an illegal firearm was found in his car during a traffic stop.

BREAKING: Police raided the apartment of Ilhan Omar’s son in Minneapolis and seized firearms and ammunition.

Police arrested Omar’s son’s roommate, 22-year-old Abdulrahman Abdi.

Earlier that day, the city’s police department said officers conducted a traffic stop and cited Abdi for having no proof of insurance and no driver’s license. Abdi was released at the scene, and the vehicle was being impounded when a firearm was found inside.

Officers later tracked Abdi to an address, where they arrested him “without incident.”
