@DarioCpx De acuerdo. Estamos a las puerras de un ajuste severo del mercado, en todas las areas. Es muy probable que se desate una cadena de sucesos de magnitud generacional en el corto a mediano plazo. Estaremos listos?
SpaceX Lands the Rocket. The Church of Spreadsheet Counts the Float.
the five-second epistemology
Has there ever been a more advanced industrial operation on the face of the Earth? Name it. Name the heavier manufacturing, the deeper supply chain, the more punishing aerospace engineering ever assembled under one roof. There is no name, because there is no rival.
Putting one man on the Moon — Neil Armstrong, once, for a few hours — took the Apollo program: the better part of half a million people, an entire nation’s supply chain, the best part of a decade, a budget that bent the federal books. The United States landed twelve men across six missions, then could not afford to keep going, and has not been back in over fifty years. SpaceX lands boosters on a barge in the open ocean before lunch, brings them home, refuels them, and flies them again — a hundred and thirty times in a single year. What Apollo did once with a country, SpaceX does on a Tuesday, and then again Wednesday.
And it owns the whole stack — and the stack is the entire point. The most vertically integrated heavy-manufacturing operation in history. It builds its own engines, welds its own rockets, prints its own satellites, launches them off its own pads, and runs its own internet out of low Earth orbit: Starlink, eight million people, eighteen-plus billion dollars a year, a constellation it lifted itself. It owns xAI and the data centers under it. People squint at that like it is a wart. It is the moat. The real use case for those data centers is not a chatbot — it is going to space. They own the compute, the launch, the satellites, the network, and the dirt under all of it. Top to bottom, nothing rented, nothing licensed, nothing borrowed.
The five-second epistemology of The Church of AI Use Case and The Monks of the Order of AI promise AI is gonna revolutionize everything.
Big data, Hadoop, SEO, data viz, blockchain, and the metaverse all got Hadooped first.
—
I.
The Church of AI Use Case.
The Church has clergy. The clergy is the AI evangelist. The Church has seminaries. The seminary is the AIP Bootcamp. The Church has missionaries. The missionaries are the agent founders. The Church has gospels. The gospels are the Substack newsletters. The Church has tithing. The tithing is the API subscription. The Church has communion. The communion is the conference.
The Church is searching for the Holy Grail. The Holy Grail is the use case. The Holy Grail is in another castle. The castle is in Dongguan. The castle is not for sale.
—
II.
The category error.
“AI” is three things bundled. One is automation. Automation is what you do with the technology when you have a factory. The factory is in Shenzhen. The factory makes the BYD. The factory makes the Shahed. The factory makes the Ascend chip. The automation is the use case.
Two is the language model. The language model is what you do with the technology when you have no factory. The language model writes the slide deck about what could be automated if there were a factory.
Three is the chip stack and the data center. The chip is the altar. The data center is the cathedral. The cathedral has a 480 megawatt substation and a depleted aquifer. The substation is the buttress. The aquifer is the donation plate.
China kept the automation. The empire kept the cathedral.
—
III.
What the Church does.
The Church holds conferences to find a use case. The use case is to hold the conference. The conference attendee buys the API to attend the conference. The next conference is about what to build with the API access. The keynote is about what could be built if there were more compute. The audience is the use case for the keynote. The keynote is the use case for the audience.
The Church sends agents to gather data. The data is gathered so the agent can act on the data. The agent acts on the data by gathering more data. The gathering is the acting. The acting is the gathering.
The Church needs more compute. More compute is needed to process more data. More data is needed because the Church needs to justify more compute. The compute is the data. The data is the compute. The Church is the data center. The data center is the Church. The 480 megawatt substation is the choir.
—
IV.
China figured it out.
China figured out there is no use case for the language model that the language model itself can find. China kept the automation. The automation goes in the factory. The factory ships the BYD. The BYD goes to Bangkok. The BYD does not need a use case keynote. The BYD is the use case.
The Church does not have a factory. The Church does not have a Bangkok. The Church has a conference. The conference is in San Francisco.
China banned the missionaries from leaving. The empire is importing the missionaries China banned. The empire calls this brain drain. The drain is what China drained. The drain had no use case in China. The drain has no use case in the empire either. The empire calls the drain the talent.
The five-second epistemology of China Used AI to Build a Car. Silicon Valley Used AI to Invent a New Way to Bill You for Spam About the Future.
China built the car. AI in Shenzhen is the line that welds the BYD. AI in Hefei is the foundry. AI in Dongguan is the floor that ships. DeepSeek runs. Qwen runs. CATL runs. The Ascend stack runs. The thing lands. People trust the thing that lands. They trust the machine that hands them a car for nineteen thousand dollars and a warranty. Eighty-seven percent is not faith. Eighty-seven percent is a receipt.
The empire built the popup. AI in America is the box that darkens the screen before the sentence finishes. AI in America is the chatbot named Ashley who will not let you reach a human. AI in America is the funnel, the drip, the nurture flow, the ad chasing a sweater already bought. The conference circuit. The AIP Bootcamp. The LinkedIn migration. The keynote about compute, the Substack about the keynote, the panel about the Substack. Thirty-two percent is not ignorance. Thirty-two percent is also a receipt.
Nobody in America fears the intelligence. They fear the infestation. They have never once met the intelligence. They have only met the spam wearing its coat. You cannot poll against a mind you were never allowed to reach. You poll against Ashley. Ashley loses to immigration enforcement because Ashley will not transfer you to a human and enforcement, at least, sends one to the door.
Now the part that ends the argument. The empire owns the compute. The empire raised the 480 megawatt substation and drank the aquifer to cool it. The empire holds the cathedral. And the empire aimed all of it at the popup. China holds less compute and aimed it at the factory floor. Trust did not follow the silicon. Trust followed the dock. The country with the most compute trusts AI the least, because it spent the most compute on the thing that hovers instead of the thing that lands.
The center of the map is not Mountain View. The center is the Dongguan floor, where the machine makes a thing and the thing leaves on a truck. Mountain View keeps the keynote about the floor. The floor does not need the keynote. The floor has the truck.
Different things. Same fiscal year. Same Pentagon. Same Mountain View green room. No overlap. One country trusts the machine that builds the car. One country distrusts the machine that chases the sweater. The poll is the Venn diagram with a sample size.
Day 96. Still closed. People trust the thing that lands. Day 36.

The five-second epistemology of the formal petition to President Gavin Newsom: cast your Secretary of Defense from Bravo, as flamboyantly LGBTQIA+ as the network has ever produced.
President @GavinNewsom , for when you get there — and you will. One request. It concerns the Pentagon. Conduct your search for Secretary of Defense in the proud tradition of the current president. That search was never about credentials. It was casting. The look, the affect, the segment-ready jaw, the vibe of a man playing a Secretary of Defense on cable. The kitchen does not ask you to break that tradition. The kitchen asks you to honor it — and change the channel.
Do not look at the Pentagon. Do not look at the war colleges. Look at Bravo. Run the casting call through the network. The most flamboyantly LGBTQIA+ candidate the genre can produce — Real Housewives energy, Vanderpump intrigue, a reunion-special wardrobe, full reality-television wattage. Maximum flamboyance. A confirmation hearing that plays like a season premiere. A nameplate at the Pentagon the evangelical caucus cannot read without sitting down.
—
The Secretary of Defense is not a manager. It is the human face of the recruiting poster. The figure every megachurch points the youth group toward. The fusion powering the evangelical Disney World is God, flag, and uniform welded into one object — and the fastest solvent for that weld is a Pentagon the pews cannot stomach saluting.
Seat a Bravo-grade figure in that chair and you do not reform the war machine. You demoralize it at the top, day one, before a single policy is signed. The recruiter’s job becomes impossible. The evangelical dad reconsiders driving his kid to the enlistment office. The readiness panic, the furious op-eds, the politicians weeping about morale on the floor — which is the objective. You don’t argue the empire’s wars down. You make its uniform unwearable to the population that supplies the bodies.
—
Same machine the kitchen has named all along. “Fuck the troops” was never an insult — it is a supply-side attack. Demoralize, tank the numbers, make the politicians cry. The viral clips do it from below: every humiliated serviceman is one more teenager who picks anything else. The Bravo SecDef does it from above: the casting choice that detonates the recruiting poster at the source. Below and above, one goal — the empty recruiting office.
The kitchen does not care about the pronouns, the wardrobe, the reunion drama. The kitchen cares about the empty enlistment office, and that nameplate is how you get it.
—
So, on the record. President Gavin Newsom: follow the current president’s casting-over-credentials tradition exactly. Point the camera at Bravo. Find the most flamboyantly LGBTQIA+ Secretary of Defense the network has ever produced, and seat them at the head of the table. Please. The kitchen is asking nicely.
Day 95. Day 35. Still closed. Same tradition, new network. Give us the Bravo SecDef the pews can’t salute. Maximum flamboyance, minimum recruits.
Some defense. Some tradition. Some network.

The five-second epistemology of how the gold always moves, and the only argument left is who narrates it.
Redistribution is not Karl Marx’s idea. This is the part the seminar gets backwards. Go back far enough — Rome, the Mughals, the Romanovs, the Qing — and every dynasty ends the same way. The wealth changes hands. By force. On a long enough timeline, the gold always moves. That ran for ten thousand years before Karl Marx was born to put a red bow on it. Marx did not invent the transfer. Marx invented the Robin Hood framing of the transfer. The mechanism is ancient. The narration is the only thing he added, and the narration is the only thing anybody argues about.
TAKE NOT TAX
The five-second epistemology of: socialism means taking. Bernie Sanders is not ready to take anything. Bernie Sanders is not a socialist.
The headlines call his AI fund socialism. A 50% tax, a public stake, a citizen’s dividend. Run it through one test and the whole thing collapses: socialism means taking. He is not taking anything. He is taxing. Tax means nothing. He is a pretender, and so is the entire American left that thinks high taxation is a politics.
—
Here is the thing Americans have been too brainwashed to say out loud: socialism is taking. Not rates. Not brackets. Not a dividend off a fund. Taking. You confiscate the asset, you put it to use, you redistribute the thing itself. If you are not ready to take anything, you are not a socialist — you are a customer asking for a discount on the world the way it already is.
A tax is a debate about the receipts. It leaves the architecture exactly where it stands and asks for a bigger slice of what the architecture produces. It may not even cause inflation. It changes nothing about who owns what, who decides what gets built, or who the building is for. The American “democratic socialist” wants the citizen’s dividend without the confiscation. That is not a milder socialism. It is the absence of one.
The five-second epistemology of Ghalibaf da Gangsta calling the shots while the White House publishes the proof.
The White House made a poster. Trump had a very productive call with Bibi. No troops going to Beirut — any on their way, turned back. A very good call with Hezbollah, through highly placed representatives. All shooting will stop.
Read it as the announcement it is, then read who wrote the terms it announces.
—
This is the receipt for the last piece. The kitchen said Iran calls the shots and the influencers argue about Trump. The White House just published the evidence under its own seal. The troops were on their way to Beirut. The troops turned back. The shooting stops. Every verb in that poster is the empire complying with a condition, dressed as the empire deciding a policy.
The poster says Trump turned the troops back. The poster cannot say why the troops had to turn back, because the why is the whole story. The why was set by the party that conditioned the ceasefire on the halt in Lebanon. Qassem already said it out loud from Beirut: the ceasefire would not exist without the fighters, and Iran conditioned the agreement on halting the war in Lebanon. The condition is Tehran’s. The announcement is Washington’s. The poster shows you the announcement and hides the condition, and that gap is the entire trick.
—
Look at what the President is actually confirming, sentence by sentence, against himself. No troops to Beirut — the troops were turned back, which means somebody set a line the troops could not cross. A very good call with Hezbollah — the United States, through “highly placed representatives,” negotiating with the organization it calls a terror group, because the organization held the southern border and the Litani that the evangelical Disney World could not reach in the first week or in forty-five days. All shooting will stop — on terms where Israel will not attack them and they will not attack Israel, which is the ceasefire Iran required as the price of the Strait.
The President is not lying. He made the calls. He turned the troops around. He is the announcer. He is just announcing the other side’s terms in his own voice, and the seminary hears a victory because the seminary has no ear for whose condition it is.
—
Ghalibaf da Gangsta named the register weeks ago: Resistance and Iran are one soul, both in war and in ceasefire. Read the poster back through that sentence. The “call with Hezbollah” is a call with the body Tehran speaks for. The halt in Beirut is the soul deciding, in ceasefire, the same way it decided in war. The kitchen called Ghalibaf on Day 23, when the empire still thought it was choosing. The White House is now printing his terms on a black-and-white poster and signing it DONALD J. TRUMP.
That is what calling the shots looks like when the other guy controls the microphone. You set the condition. He holds the press conference. He turns his own troops around and calls it his productive call. And the asset that was steaming toward Beirut turns back, because Ghalibaf da Gangsta named the consequence and the empire’s hardware does what it always does when he names it — it retreats, on schedule, and then issues a statement taking credit for arriving nowhere.
The five-second epistemology of Michael Burry reading a hymn as a mortgage bond.
Burry opens by calling the structure fraud.
The thing he calls fraud is fully disclosed. Every step legal. Every step published. Filed with the SEC. He says so himself, in the same breakdown.
A fraud hides. This one was printed in the hymnal and sung in the open.
Two sentences. Same breakdown. Same author. He found the word — fugazi — and filed it under the wrong religion.
—
Valor is not a real operating business. Burry flags this. Valor holds chips and nothing else. A shell.
The shell is the function. Valor is not pretending to be a business and failing. Valor is a reliquary — a box built to hold one sacred object and nothing else. Burry found the box and called it empty. The box is doing its job.
—
$5.4 billion in GPUs, invisible to both balance sheets. Nvidia books the sale. xAI runs the chips. Valor holds the title. Nobody in the room owns the thing everybody uses.
Burry reads this as the risk being hidden. The chip that no one owns is the chip that cannot be doubted — doubt needs an owner to question, and there is no owner. The structure does not hide the asset. It lifts the asset out of the realm of things that can be questioned. Transubstantiation, booked as a sale.
