Look at this person - Posting misinformation so irresponsibly, but makes it so that no one can reply to correct it either. Women with MRKH are not “born without a reproductive system”. It affects women with normal ovarian function…who usually have normal fallopian tubes by the way.. MRKH causes variable levels of underdevelopment of the uterus. As a woman with MRKH, I’d like to confirm my ovaries and fallopian tubes and underdeveloped uterus do in fact all exist within my body at this moment in time. I’m very sick of having to live life climbing the hill of misinformation these people have created on my behalf

This is a highly stressful and invasive experience for us. We are frustrated and upset because our private medical condition is being used as a rhetorical pawn in a public debate that has nothing to do with us, while simultaneously spreading medical confusion about what MRKH actually is. MRKH is an irrelevant analogy here. It a congenital condition where females are born with variable levels of underdevelopment of the uterus. It does not affect our ovaries or our ability to produce eggs and undergo monthly hormonal cycles. Using MRKH as an example in an argument about an egg production defect or a system merely "organized around" eggs is medically incorrect. By failing to mention that women with MRKH have normal ovarian function and can have biological children using their own eggs via gestational surrogacy or uterus transplant, the post erases our reproductive reality and reduces us to a flawed baseline. Women with MRKH have explicitly asked JK to stop broadcasting our condition to her millions of followers in this context. Doing so invites invasive, degrading public scrutiny and internet arguments over our bodies. Our medical reality is being weaponized by both sides to score points in gender politics rather than to raise genuine, helpful awareness or support for women with my condition

But MRKH isn’t a condition where the ovaries are non/malfunctioning. It is one of several uterine anomalies, with *normal* ovarian function.

We’ve told you before that we really don’t want you to mention us because you have millions of followers and you never mention us in ways that are actually true to our experiences in life. do you think we were just arguing before and we didn’t really mean it? Do you know how it feels to be us every time we see a message that says oh no J. K. Rowling talked about you guys again? You always use us for these types of posts. Every time you post something like this, it affects our lives. This week, you posted about females being the sex that produces eggs and people got all over you about it and I’m sorry about that. But now in response to that you made about women with MRKH who don’t have problems producing eggs, and used us as your example instead of using the example of a medical condition where a woman cannot produce eggs. Why did you do that to us - again? And not only that, you keep using the “organized around” when you talk about us even though we don’t need “organized around” because we ovulate normally and produce eggs directly. We just want to be left alone. We just want posts about our condition to be about fertility journeys and solving our challenges with MRKH. We don’t want to be part of any of this that you bring us into. You may not have noticed, but we’re actively trying to minimize our presence and we don’t want to be at the top of search on Twitter for your trending posts that attach us to this topic versus the ones that are actually about us

You can't make it up can you? I keep asking myself why she decided to insert us into the conversation. And what made her write the things she wrote. We can now fully expect the next 48 hours will be an unbearable misery of people arguing about our body parts and getting our condition wrong and posting misinformation and making it seem like something it isn't and we'll have to endure that yet another time because of the scale of her following - totally unprompted and unprovoked.
What kills me is she said females are the sex that produces eggs so obviously a medical condition where women produce eggs really doesn't need further explanation, does it? At least not in that conversation. Why would she write what she wrote? A person who has ovaries and ovulates eggs is a female and there's no more discussion to be had but now she's opened a discussion about us. It's Sunday and I really wanted to have a nice day and now my day has totally gone to shit

And, this isn’t a chromosomal difference on the sex genes. Like yea, ik it doesn’t. I have this
