AI does not write plans

AI makes no decisions, does not write project plans, does not write Slack messages. No plans, content or marketing are written with AI. Not a word. Writing is thinking, and thinking is sacred.

AI does not replace jobs

Anyone who thinks AI can replace a knowledge worker job (incl. engineering) either misunderstands AI, or they misunderstands their job. Knowledge worker jobs are about decisions, and decisions are made by the most capable mind in the room. Today, and for an unforeseeably long future still, humans are the most capable minds in the room.

AI has no ideas

You can't delegate creativity, and you can delegate decisions to AI. AI has no ideas. AI can suggest, fact-check, or implement, but it cannot decide what to do. Only you can.

AI is useful for busy work

Implement an architecture that's already decided, comb through thousands of files, summarize, extract, countercheck, test, throw stuff against a harness to see what sticks, re-implement what thousands implemented before, or act as a search engine over public knowledge.
