A new chapter begins with eGov's MoU alongside @SELCOFoundation and @SocietalThinkng , jointly committing to reimagine the landscape of primary health services.

Picture this: Primary Health Centres and other crucial health service points, no longer just functional, but resilient and self-reliant. This vision is being brought to life through Decentralised Renewable Energy (DRE) grids, locally deployed solar grids which generate electricity. Imagine a future where health services are not just efficient but sustainably powered.

SELCO Foundation brings to the table their expertise in ensuring these solar-powered systems are more than just installations; they're integral parts of the community's health infrastructure. This means keeping critical healthcare equipment, like baby warmers and heart resuscitation tools, running smoothly, even in the most remote areas.

And then there's the digital aspect. A digital platform, powered by @digit_dpg , aims to streamline operations, making grievance redressal, maintenance, and management of DRE grids seamless. It's about making data-driven decisions, bridging communication gaps, and ensuring that every stakeholder, from central teams to local health centres, is on the same page.

This MoU isn't just a formal agreement; it's a commitment to drive sustainable change in healthcare delivery, focusing on those who need it most. It's not just a story about technology; it's a narrative about making a real, tangible impact in health service delivery, especially where it's needed the most.

In an action-packed field visit, eGov Foundation, accompanied by @SocietalThinkng and the @SELCOFoundation team, embarked on a mission to unlock the potential of decentralized renewable energy (DRE) through @digit_dpg for healthcare and livelihood applications. Our journey began with enlightening field visits to Byrnihat Primary Health Center and two sub-health centers, where solar energy powers vital services. Interactions with SELCO Foundation partners deepened our insights into DRE solutions in the northeast.

In a meeting, we also engaged with Mr. Ramkumar, IAS, Director of NHM, Meghalaya, the driving force behind the energy-for-health initiative. We presented our work across various missions and embraced the stunning vistas of Meghalaya as a backdrop to our discussions. At eGov, we're committed to harnessing technology for societal well-being, and we're thrilled by the possibilities that lie ahead on this path of innovation and impact.
