What happened to Agile Coaching?
I’ve been in Agile for quite some time now
What I see today doesn’t look anything like the Agile I got involved with
I think it's time we talked about it
Scenario: a team does 1 week of research to validate a decision, and ends up disproving their initial set of assumptions.
In output-based org culture, that team is now a week behind.
In outcome-based org culture, that team is now a week ahead.
Slack in software teams is: letting people do the work they can’t justify.
This makes development more predictable, production more resilient to problems, and the whole company resilient to changing expectations in the world.

Every time I speak or hear the word “should” a voice inside my head asks “what is the basis of this ‘should’??
I start to wonder: on the basis of what moral/ethical/pragmatic imperative? Do the reader/listener and speaker/writer share that imperative?
Once again, this isn’t the first time. There is a case to be made that intelligence sharing to Germany should be cut off or curtailed by the rest of NATO.

@johncutlefish Interestingly they seemed to already have the resources to pay you. So I would be cautious to assume strong correlation. Maybe there were more resources like that, which helped with their career.
This is hardly the first one either. Last month a former German reserve officer was convicted of spying for Russia. After each instance I always ask the same question: "How badly has Germany been compromised by Russia?"
The answer keeps getting worse.
