@wade1on the fact that they were throwing parties in the same house makes this even more disturbing, i can't imagine what her grandparents went through
Porn destroyed Bree Olson's life. Just not the way you think.
She was making $30,000 to $60,000 a month. She walked away at 25. Today she says she could go back and make $20,000 in a single week. She won't, because of what the world did to her after she quit.
Born Rachel Oberlin, raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. First scene at 20. Best New Starlet two years later. 170+ films. For three years she was a contract star for Adam & Eve, one of the biggest names in the business. In 2011 the whole world knew her as one of Charlie Sheen's "goddesses." She lived in his house for about six months, then left him in April that year.
Then she left the industry too. And the door slammed shut.
She tried mainstream work. She took small acting roles, including The Human Centipede 3, and shot comedy sketches for Funny or Die. When that wasn't enough to live on, she ended up doing webcam work, the one job that would still have her.
In the video below, five years after quitting, she sits down and says what nobody wanted to hear.
"I feel as if I'm wearing slut across my forehead."
"People treat me as if I am a pedophile. They don't treat me like an ex-sex worker. They treat me like I would somehow be damaging to children."
There are "days to weeks at a time where I don't leave my house."
Asked how she wishes people saw her, she covers her mouth and can't speak. Then: "a married registered nurse with 2.5 kids in Indiana." And right after: "But it'll never happen."
When Sheen revealed he had HIV in 2015, she said he never told her. She filmed herself getting tested. Negative.
And for any girl thinking about getting in, she doesn't soften it: "Don't do porn. You can never work with children after you do porn. You can never work in a medical field after you do porn."
"How people treat you for the rest of your life, it's not worth it."
That same year she put it in one line: "Porn didn't hurt me. The way society treats me for having done it does."
She paid for one decision at 20 with the rest of her life. Is that on her, or on us?
CLAUDE CODE BUILT A FAKE AIRPORT WIFI AND IT TOOK A PASSWORD IN 30 SECONDS
i wanted to see how easy it actually is. everyone connects to free wifi at airports, cafes and hotels without thinking. i do it too
i asked claude code to build a fake wifi login page. the kind you see everywhere. it wrote the whole thing in 3 minutes
then i put up a hotspot called "Guest_Network". same name as half the networks you've ever joined
here's what happened the second someone connected:
- a normal looking "Welcome to Our Wi-Fi" page popped up
- it asked for email and password to connect
- looked exactly like a real captive portal
- nothing on the phone looked off
i typed a test email and password. walked over to the laptop. claude code opened the admin panel
both were sitting right there in plain text:
- the email
- the password
- the exact timestamp
two people connected in under a minute. both entered real looking logins without a second thought
the scariest part is there's no warning. no popup, no lock icon telling you something is wrong. the page looks identical to the real one
this cost $0. a laptop and a few lines of code claude code wrote. no special hardware, no pineapple, no flipper. just a hotspot and a fake page
this is a demo i ran on my own devices, for educational purposes only
the point is simple. if i can do this in 3 minutes, so can the person sitting next to you at the gate
how to protect yourself is in the first reply. go through it tonight, takes 2 minutes
bookmark this and send it to anyone who connects to free wifi
@DmitroCP being great at chess or coding doesn't mean AI understands the world
dealing with unpredictable real-life situations is a completely different challenge
@0xdimix the fact that both sides disagree so much on the payment is interesting
but losing control over your own content for years is the bigger issue here
