@DeadSuperHero Run it on @system76',s POPOS and you're golden, esp if you use Nvidia GPU, Blender is a good alternative but I doubt you will get feature parity to AE.

@typeoff It may be because many designers are convinced that if they produce work on 'non-canonical' tools from the big red A, somehow their designs will be inferior. The barrier to adopting Libre tools are a technical burden that's needs time to learn...

@realdoctormo @inkscape This is great! Hopefully with enough testers we can see this going upstream, can't wait.

I do miss the days where getting an .xyz domain didn't involve ritual sacrifice.

@carolynz Nah some devs will take a pixel perfect mockup, give you 60%, then blame your design. "We can't code this, it will break the dependancy we have on some obscure bootstrap framework"

@rosettatype @connordavenpo This a thing. If you've ever spent time on older "open source" mailing lists you'd find this sort of behaviour at least twice a week

@Pavodefreitas Just finished reading a book that delves into fundamentalism in ✡️☪️✝️. The author Karen Armstrong uses the terms logos for rational thinking and mythos for mystical awareness, fundamentalists apparently have their wires crossed when it come to those ideas..
