We have underwent a security audit with @borghq - the firm responsible for protecting and guiding many of the largest names in the space such as Photon and Axiom confirming that Nova presents no vulnerabilities.

Our primary commitment has always been to ensure all users feel safe trading on Nova. 💜

Hey guys, I think it is worth addressing everything and clearing the air.

The dev team initially took a step back and went and performed an internal audit - checking pushes, any additions or removal of code from the start to the current build of the dex from both the core team and any team members - to confirm that there were no internal vulnerabilities that may have impacted any wallets or user funds.

We also contacted multiple security researchers and providers - the same security providers for large scale platforms such as Photon, and Axiom - and performed a security audit and penetration test to try and break the dex and find any loopholes that might affect user funds.

This will be published in due time - but from the test results we are confident that the dex presents no vulnerabilities.

In relation to what took place, we know that wallets were effected that used Nova, Axiom, or Photon and a variety of dexs. Furthermore, from our investigation both with researchers and internally, we have determined that some of the wallets have not even interacted with Nova from our analysis.

This made it clear to us that this event was not isolated to just Nova - which I hope clarifies that we are not the only platform in this.

I do not want to shift any blame to anyone, and my main purpose of this tweet is to put every user at ease that has traded with Nova in the past or is planning on trading with Nova in the future.

As a result of all these events, our main priority is as follows.
- Publish all audits and their accurate results for full transparency as we have always done.
- Work with every security researcher and person effected by the events of these attacks.

There are a ton of attack vectors in crypto, both through browsers and their own vulnerabilities or the vast amount of protocols that exist in this market.

One thing I know for sure is we have always been committed to protecting our user funds, and are very transparent when it comes to things of this nature. Trust is integral to our product.

To add on, over 300,000 users with a lot of wallets each have interacted with Nova at some point in their trading journey. That comes entirely from trust, and we do not have any incentive to impact a few users - it does not make any sense. A product of this scale with a potential vulnerability would have been exploited in a much more drastic way.

Going forward, the Nova Team is dedicated to spending and using all of our resources to absolutely crush anyone that is involved in any nature of draining users of either Nova or any other platform. We are in contact and committed to speaking to other dexs and protocols that have also had users affected, and we will go to war to protect everyone that trades in this community. This is our promise.
