I think the only people benefiting from projects now are the founders.
Previously, everything was so interesting, project founders promise an airdrop, beg for community support, keep to their promise and everyone stays happy but right now, it's become the opposite, project founders now use the good track of past well performed projects to launch a public activity, use the community to gain hype, dump them and move on

If you're sure you're not going to keep to a promise, why deceive people with it if not greed?
My main point is at @carv_official that launched an incentivized farming system months ago, people spent months burning gas fee of 4 chains, influencers while trying to give out an opportunity to their community wrote free contents about them only for them to announce a node sale yesterday.

According to them, there would be 100K node supply at a price of $500 per node.
With simple calculation, 500 X 100,000 = $50M lolz
Carv is asking for $50M from their community, this amount is 5x of the amount they could raise in their series A round, an amount VCs couldn't give them, they want to greedily collect it from their community.

That aside, they Allocated 25% of their token supply to node operators in order to lure the community into purchasing it. that aside, if 25% of supply goes to node operators, how many % do they intend to allocate to node miners you farmed for months or this is another "using the community" ? or are they intending to allocate 50% of their supply for airdrop?

3rdly, after announcing the node sell, they bought bots to spam up the comments and retweets in order to cover up any critical comments from the real community.

You that wants to dash your $500 to carv to run a node for a share of their 25%, ask yourself these questions;
1 Why is there a 100k supply and $500 per node if it's not a cash grab?

2 why would they announce % of airdrop allocation to miners along if it's not to lure you in ?

3 Why haven't they attended to any of the questions in comments if they are responsive or you want to give your funds to someone that might not attend to you if you encounter an issue during the process?

4 Why did they bot the tweets if they don't intend to lure you into giving your money to them?

It's time we start to also treat these greedy founders with equal reaction so they will understand the real meaning of community.
