Elle visait les entreprises proposant des services privés comme :
- Les VPN
- Les e-mails chiffrés
- Les messageries sécurisées

1. Demander une pièce d’identité à chaque nouvel utilisateur (passeport ou permis de conduire)... Plus possible de s’inscrire sans donner son vrai nom !

2. Garder les données des utilisateurs pendant 6 mois (adresse IP, quand on se connecte, etc)

3. Pouvoir déchiffrer les messages ou données si la police le demande !!

Proton (l’entreprise suisse qui fait @ProtonMail et @ProtonVPN) a dit clairement : "Cette loi est pire que celle des États-Unis"

Résultat Proton a commencé à déplacer une partie de ses serveurs hors de Suisse !! (en Allemagne notamment) par précaution.
Mais l’entreprise reste basée en Suisse pour le moment

Ensuite beaucoup de monde s’est opposé à cette loi (d’autres entreprises, des associations et des politiciens)

ILe gouvernement suisse a donc revu sa copie et a atténué le projet !

- La version la plus sévère de la loi n’a pas été appliquée

- Proton a quand même commencé à diversifier ses serveurs !

- La réputation de la Suisse comme pays qui protège bien la vie privée a pris un coup

‼️🚨 ALARMING: Google now treats privacy as suspicious behavior by default. Users of GrapheneOS, CalyxOS, /e/OS, and other deGoogled Android phones are being locked out of millions of websites unless they install the exact Google Play Services software they deliberately removed.

GrapheneOS is recommended by the EFF and used by journalists, lawyers, and activists in high-risk environments. The audience most likely to read Google's data practices and refuse its terms is now flagged as fraudulent for that exact decision.

What happened?:
▪️ Google announced "Cloud Fraud Defense" at Cloud Next on April 22-23, 2026, branding it "the next evolution of reCAPTCHA." Existing reCAPTCHA customers were auto-migrated.
▪️ When the system flags traffic as suspicious, the old click-the-bus puzzle is gone. Users get a QR code instead.
▪️ Scanning the QR code requires Google Play Services running on the device. Internet Archive snapshots show this requirement has been live since at least October 2025, silently rolled out for 7 months before anyone noticed.
▪️ No Play Services = no QR scan = locked out.

The bigger picture:
▪️ Google already tried this in 2023. It was called Web Environment Integrity (WEI), and it would have let Google decide which devices were "real enough" to access the web. Standards bodies and the public pushed back hard, and Google killed it. Three years later, the same idea is back, just hidden behind a QR code instead of a browser feature.
▪️ reCAPTCHA runs on millions of websites. Every developer who keeps using it is now, by default, telling deGoogled Android users they're not welcome...

The man who co founded the world’s largest stablecoin was arrested by Interpol in a Spanish villa with guns, machetes and child pornography

His name is Brock Pierce

If you’ve ever held USDT, the $140 BILLION stablecoin that settles more daily volume than Visa in some months you’ve used a product he co founded

Brock Pierce was a Disney child actor. He starred in The Mighty Ducks, D2, and First Kid

At 16 he met a 40 year old businessman named Marc Collins Rector

Collins Rector was building Digital Entertainment Network. A pre YouTube streaming platform funded by David Geffen, Microsoft, and Dell

They raised $60 MILLION and were planning a $75 MILLION IPO

At 17 Pierce was VP at a base salary of $250,000

Pierce, Collins Rector, and Collins Rector’s boyfriend lived together in a 12,600 square foot mansion in Encino

The mansion hosted parties attended by Hollywood’s A list: Bryan Singer, David Geffen and Gary Goddard

DEN’s flagship show “Chad’s World” was co-written by Collins Rector, produced by Pierce, and targeted “gay and questioning teen boys”

In October 1999 a young man filed a lawsuit alleging Collins Rector had sexually molested him for three years starting at age 13

The IPO collapsed

In July 2000 three more former DEN employees filed a sexual abuse lawsuit naming Pierce, Collins-Rector, and Shackley together alleging rape, assault, drugging of minors and death threats

Collins Rector was indicted for transporting minors across state lines for sex

All three men fled to Spain

Interpol arrested them in Marbella in 2002. Guns, machetes, and child pornography were found in the house

Pierce was released without criminal charges. Collins Rector pleaded guilty to eight counts of child enticement and registered as a sex offender

The civil lawsuits against Pierce were “dismissed and/or settled out of court.”

He settled with at least one plaintiff for $21,600. He has consistently denied all allegations

In 2014 Pierce co-founded Tether originally called Realcoin

Tether became the largest stablecoin in crypto. By 2019 USDT was processing higher daily volume than Bitcoin itself

Tether has never been audited by a Big Four firm. Their first audit attempt with Friedman LLP was abruptly disbanded in 2018 with no explanation

In 2021 Tether settled with the New York Attorney General for $18.5 MILLION over misrepresenting their reserves

The connections kept growing

Pierce founded Blockchain Capital. In that role he helped Jeffrey Epstein become an early investor in Coinbase

He spoke at Epstein’s “Mindshift” conference in 2011 - three years AFTER Epstein had been convicted of soliciting prostitution from a minor

In February 2026 the US Department of Justice released emails from Epstein’s files. One email from Pierce to Epstein read: “a boat in Antigua full of amazing Ukraine’s finest” was waiting for him

The system runs on USDT. USDT was built by Brock Pierce. And Brock Pierce has answered the same questions about the same allegations for a quarter century

WORLDWIDE CRACKDOWN ON VPNs BEGINS

🇪🇺 EU Executive Vice President Henna Virkkunen is pushing limits on VPN use, warning new age and ID systems must not be bypassed.

Utah becomes the first 🇺🇸 US state to target VPNs under age verification laws starting May 6, 2026.

Websites can be held liable even if users mask location, forcing a choice: block VPNs entirely or require ID checks from everyone.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation calls it a “liability trap” that could push global platforms toward mass identity verification.

Momentum is building globally. 🇬🇧 UK and 🇫🇷 French officials are now signaling VPN restrictions may be next.

EU-wide age verification is set to roll out across all 27 member states by the end of 2026.
