@stevesi It is the local news station, it is in the same city as UW Medicine. Microsoft has offices in this city and multiple cities near this station.
@robtlee If people were serious, they would hire notaries and have them check government id in a bank or city government lobby. But that would cost money out of pocket…
@blairvic02 The OP didn’t say the money was to save the business, the money was to expand the business. Was the brother getting an ownership stake , or a signed loan agreement? Or was this an undocumented handshake gift (gifts are taxed to the giver)?
@dpetrou@davepl1968@Lertulo Yes, and getting better. It works wonders on SSD drives. Can cause them to go from 100MB/sec back to 500MB/sec (not this for an SSD on a Sata III connection).
@Augustine_ashal@twtayaan The maintainers have rights unless they signed them away. What to you mean by exclusive rights and how that fit with most OSS licenses. If the maintainers want economic exclusivity, then that sounds like a commercial license in sheep’s clothing.
@james_droog@twtayaan That why it is called volunteer work. If they want to be paid, then they could stop volunteering free labor. Find a job or company that agrees to pay them for the work. She did. Changing to a paid model for the source is another move. And her doing an open folk is also valid.
@cybercussion@darrenjr I think those are 3270 style terminals plugged into IBM compatible mainframes. But your point stands. They are using what works. From asking the employees to look stuff up, they are pretty efficient.
@TheHost_ What was the secret worth blowing up a 36 year marriage? If it wasn’t something bad, why did he allow the marriage to fail over it?
Or is this a creative writing exercise?
T3 Code is now available on iOS and Android.
Run “npx t3 connect” in your terminal, install the app, and now you can control Claude and Codex fully remotely.
Still 100% free. Still 100% open source. Enjoy 🫡
@AnnaSheveland@JonahDispatch The failure mode of clever is asshole. The risk one runs with satire is to be viewed as an idiot in the absence of signifiers.
@lauriewired I once broke an old Fortran compiler running on an HP mini. I redefined arrays to start at 0. The compiler crashed. Changed them to start at -1 and the code complied.
