@hot_girl_spring i comment what my function does and place it right above the declaration where i name the function what it does. So not only is the dog commented as “the dog,” it’s also named “the dog.”

@fireinside_fie such a breeze to fix merge stuff! i wish i’d known about it earlier. i still use the terminal for just about everything, but this has improved my workflow.
i only recently found out about this functionality when handling a merge conflict. no shade to the op whatsoever; i just tend to do all of my git shit in the terminal. i gotta say, insofar as dealing with conflicts go, this is a great tab to know about.
