Took some time to research and explore older projects to see how they were holding up after a year or two of existing.
Some doing well, others...well not so good.
But one stood out to me for a few reasons.
That protocol is Weenis!
Uh I mean @JPEGd_69!
Let's talk about em!
Or you could deposit them on @JPEGd_69 and earn net 17% in ETH on a safe 50% LTV borrow (5% borrow APR and 22.1% current yield APY). That’s 8.5% yield on your NFT investment with both ETH and the NFT price volatility intact if you think we’re headed into a bull.
Hint: We are.
@jenndefer@Arcade_xyz@NFTfi@BendDAO@metastreetxyz@JPEGd_69 Thanks for the mention and the gud thread!
@JPEGd_69 is actually really interesting for borrowers, as there’s only one lender, which is the DAO.
Borrowers can use their assets to get yield via the highly lucrative jpeg-peth and peth-eth pool. incentivised @CurveFinance pools.
@JPEGd_69@cryptopunks@CurveFinance You forgot to mention 25% yield on pETH in @JPEGd_69’s own Citadel autocompounder. Punks are down about 20%, but thanks to yield, I made a profit holding them the last year…
@ASvanevik@JPEGd_69 has CDP $pETH from ETH-native assets where its own token $JPEG is used to increase max LTV and will soon(tm) be used to mint pETH. $60m treasury, 4th biggest DAO holder of $CVX, and a reverse QE setup where $JPEG is the best way to get $pETH if you’re not borrowing.
Stock to flow, with stock going more to people like me that hodl to use it as collateral on places like @JPEGd_69. 5% fixed yield open term ETH borrows at up to 70% LTV, & 25% return on that ETH when deposited in the Citadel.
@blur_io will suck the life out of you. Don’t let it.
486 pETH is now available to borrow for @cryptopunks holders.
There's also a near 10% premium for $pETH -> $ETH swaps on @CurveFinance.

@SemiCrypt0 The DAO repays the full debt on every liquidation, by design protocol cannot have bad debt as long as the DAO underwrites. It's been operating this way since day 1.
Here you can find the docs explaining the design, feel free to ask if something's not clear

📢 With the implementation of PIP-63, the requirement of locking a JPEG Card or $JPEG to place bids has been removed.
This update means that anyone can participate in auctions going forward.

New Feature
== Auction House ==
The Auction House consolidates active and historical auctions from multiple protocols in one convenient location.
To start off, we're surfacing @BendDAO and @JPEGd_69 auctions.
1. For traders and collectors, auctions are a way to purchase potentially discounted NFTs
2. For protocols, auctions help maintain the health of the protocol by staving off bad debt
And yet here I am, borrowing ETH for 5% and USD for 2% using fixed rates and open repayment all while earning 21% on the deposit of my borrowed ETH. 🤷🏼
@JPEGd_69
.@JPEGd_69 is @Tetranode's silent entrance into NFTfi domination.
The highlights?
📈 35,000,000 TVL in under a year
⚒️ A novel stablecoin & P2Pool model
JPEGd is far more than just your average NFTfi platform 🧵👇
