The story of the ´Cameroon Presidential Election' - Prediction Markets

President Paul Biya has been in power for 43 years and has a strong foothold in the country. The opposition leader Issa Bakary has now declared himself as the winner, and has requested for Biya to step down. Bakary has been leading in the polls with 75% of the votes and Biya in second place with 16%. The Constitutional Council is the only agency who can declare a winner, so now the country is waiting anxiously.

We´re now starting to see some movement in the Polymarket odds, with the likes of RoWinner, Gaypride, buying ´yes´ Bakary shares at considerably low prices at 1.8 cents.

The next few days will be interesting.
