Its not that you have to choose between crypto and Ai, its that the smart people who’s curiosity lead them to crypto have all now been drawn to AI. These people joined a revolution that in turn made them rich, they did not participate in it just to become rich. it was a by product. Most people still in crypto are not participating in a revolution they are desperately trying to get rich.
