@david_stillwell Second, I agree. As someone who earns in this bracket I am not annoyed by how much I pay compared to those earning 30k. It’s the people in the top 0.5% who are paying less tax than me.
@david_stillwell First, you hand picked 125k as it tactically falls right inside the tax free allowance trap. The vast majority of people earning 100-130k will put most of it into a pension.

@MalwareTechBlog 100%, a lot of these criminal groups come from the days when web injects and banking malware was in its prime. Laundering was the only option, and they were good at it.
@jeremiahg@ron_brash That being said, this isn't the first time the industry has faced a hard challenge. We've just been slow to respond and adapt. I 100% agree we should be focusing on faster detection and better security practices, but also awareness and education.
@jeremiahg@ron_brash Ransomware simplified the business model. They no longer have to deal with web injects, money laundering, bank transfers, or even infrastructure. And with proper cryptography they don't have to worry about you circumventing their tooling.
