This paragraph by C.S. Lewis hits so hard:
“Good and evil both increase at compound interest. That is why the little decisions you and I make every day are of such infinite importance. The smallest good act today is the capture of a strategic point from which, a few months later, you may be able to go on to victories you never dreamed of. An apparently trivial indulgence in lust or anger today is the loss of a ridge or railway line or bridgehead from which the enemy may launch an attack otherwise impossible.”
Our lifespan is a session. Our memory is a context.
Our senses are the input stream. Our thoughts are the reasoning steps. Our decisions are the tool calls. Our habits are the system prompt. Our goals are the objective function. Our emotions are the reward signal. Our relationships are the shared state. Our regrets are the residual errors. Our growth is the fine-tuning. Our death is the context window closing.
And whatever remains—the traces left in others—becomes the training data for the next agent.
Rejection actually has an extremely sweet taste, but there’s a delay, and you don’t get to experience it until you go through the successful journey that the pain from your rejection enabled; every successful person loves to look back at the failure that got everything started.
Today we’re releasing AI 2040: Plan A, our positive vision for AI. In it, humanity still builds AGI, but in a safe, slow, and transparent way. Things are going to get crazy and scary even in the best timelines, but this is the least bad plan that I know of.
⚡️Life gives consciousness resistance because resistance makes latent structure visible.
Without limitation, love is abstract. With limitation, love becomes a choice.
Without fear, courage is meaningless. With fear, courage becomes real.
Without temptation, integrity is untested. With temptation, integrity becomes embodied.
That is why the human world is so strange.
It is dense enough to hurt, but open enough to transform. It gives consciousness just enough ignorance to make discovery real, just enough separation to make love real, just enough mortality to make choice urgent, just enough suffering to force depth.
The point is not that some external god needs entertainment.
The point is that consciousness cannot fully know what it is until it sees what it becomes under constraint.
That is why ordinary life matters.
The bills, the body, the family, the job, the desire, the fear, the heartbreak, the ambition, the shame, the discipline, the love.
All of it is pressure applied to awareness.
Pressure reveals structure. Structure either fractures or strengthens.
Consciousness wants coherence because coherence is consciousness returning to itself with more truth than it had before.
If you want to recover faster from setbacks then skip the "why me" phase entirely and go straight to "what now." Victim mindset isn't just a feeling, it's also a sentence structure.
Change the sentence and you change the trajectory.
Now that we have established that Covid was man-made, and that the US were funding gain-of-function research at biolabs around the world, including Ukraine…
The question becomes, why the Biden admin cover all this up? Because Covid is how they stole the 2020 election…
Yes, I am alleging that the Democrats, intentionally released a man-made biological weapon, via their foreign black site USAID-funded labs, to justify mass mail-in ballots, in which they harvested and delivered to deep blue counties in swing states. Covid was the next phase of the treasonous coup, after the Russia hoax and impeachment attempts failed.
The reason the Dems/MSM have been frantically trying to cover up Covid’s origins, and the funding at the labs in Ukraine, is because they are trying to cover their tracks. The Dems released Covid to stop Trump, and that’s what all this is really about. They are guilty of crimes against humanity.
Notice how Tulsi has been working on the biolabs in Ukraine, as well as fraud in the 2020 election… these two things are connected!
TREASON!
aerodrome processes 60% of all DEX volume on base. $17.5b monthly. protocols are paying 20-40% APR in bribes to attract emissions worth 15-25% APR which only makes sense if they're accumulating veAERO as permanent treasury positions. the weekly bribe market is the single best leading indicator on base right now. when a protocol 3-5x their bribes in a single epoch they're about to need deep liquidity for something that hasn't hit your timeline yet. the picks and shovels for the agent economy aren't agent tokens, they're the liquidity layer agents route through
Visa is for vibe coders.
Anyone can spin up an app and any API can become a merchant.
Starting today we’re onboarding x402 and MPP merchant endpoints into Visa CLI so APIs, LLMs, data products, and dev tools can be discovered and purchased by verified agents with cards on file.
If you’re building an x402 or MPP endpoint, or want Visa to help you stand one up, sign up below.
We’re also opening Visa CLI to initial users in the US. DM me for an invite.
The Pope rightly warns that AI must serve human dignity, not become a tool of domination or exclusion.
But if we hand governments sweeping power over AI development in the name of safety, how do we prevent it from being used to censor, surveil, and control citizens — as Orwell foretold in 1984?
This is the real alignment problem.
“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes.” Who will guard the guardians?
“Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”
The oldest questions of human nature and authority don’t disappear in the AI age. They become newly relevant.
This is gonna be a little long, but screw the algo.
If you're in crypto just to get rich, you're like the people running for jewelry on the Titanic.
The ship is sinking, and your greed has blinded you.
99% of people on this planet trade their time for money.
They trade their literal life––time w/ family and loved ones, the things they care about, just to survive.
And at its most basic, crypto is an attempt to give people some of that life back, by providing an alternative to the succubus hegemony that steals from them what is most precious:
Their time.
By building better money, that can't be inflated away to oblivion
By building better financial opportunities, that remove middle men extracting the max tolerable dollar
By removing censorship & oppressive financial coercion.
If we can actually accomplish something approximating this, the net benefit to society is 1000x more than you or your friends getting rich.
Your children will grow up in a better world.
Is it naive to think this is possible? Of course it is.
But nobody ever did anything great by only reaching for what they thought was possible.
This is why I push for @ethereum.
Not because its perfect, practical, the most likely to succeed, best suited to onboard tradfi, make me rich, etc.
But because its the only movement in crypto that still dares to try and change the world, genuinely for the better, for everyone.
$ETH has always been freedom tech.
And freedom is always worth fighting for.
So f*ck the bullshit, the nihilism, the grifts.
Have the guts to dream again.
Believe in somETHing.
I have changed my mind on how AI will impact jobs in America.
Previously, I believed AI would replace many entry level roles typically filled by young employees. The technology would then work its way up the organization and eventually reduce the total number of jobs in a company.
The data is saying something different, so when I get new information I am willing to change my mind.
The number of software engineers being hired has been increasing. The number of open software engineer roles is growing.
The number of new college grads who get hired has increased 5.6% over the last 12 months. The unemployment level for people aged 20-24 years old who have a college degree has fallen from nearly 9% to almost 5% as well.
The Wall Street Journal recently wrote “AI created 640,000 jobs between 2023 and 2025 in the U.S., according to an analysis by LinkedIn of job posting data, including new white-collar positions such as Head of AI and AI engineer.”
And I am starting to see companies throughout our portfolio aggressively hiring to keep up with the demand for their products and services.
If AI can make employees more productive, which is widely accepted as fact, then companies are going to want as many productive units of labor as possible. This is a key reason why I am changing my mind.
AI appears to be a magical technology that will make companies more productive and more profitable. The net result will be more corporations, more startups, and more jobs.
All three are big, positive wins for the American economy.
Groups like the ADL (which tracks "hate" and pushes deplatforming while accused of overreach on critics), Media Matters (drives ad boycotts against conservative speech), and CCDH (reports targeting platforms for censorship) operate on similar models: identifying enemies to fuel donations and advocacy. No proven SPLC-style fraud yet, but their incentives mirror the risks exposed here—perpetual threats keep the funding flowing. Transparency audits would help everywhere.
