imagine if apple basically let you set up a home “server” that ran inference on that device with sophisticated models & every apple ecosystem device is a node off of that central server.
it’s complicated but if anyone can deploy hardware like this it would be them. this would allow zero marginal cost ai without any middle man with a super privacy first approach.
it would create another product category entirely. anyone remember the airport extreme?
Look guys, it's actually really straightforward, a bunch of people staked their ETH on the Ethereum blockchain to earn yield, except they didn't want their capital to be locked up, so they actually staked with a liquid staking protocol called Lido who provided them a liquid staking receipt token called stETH, except they decided to juice their yield further by depositing their stETH receipt tokens into a restaking protocol called Eigenlayer, except they didn't want to lock up their capital, so they actually restaked with a liquid restaking protocol called KelpDAO who provided them with a liquid restaking receipt token called rsETH, except they decided to juice their yield further by depositing their rsETH tokens into a lending protocol called Aave so that they could open a leveraged looping position that borrows ETH against the rsETH collateral and restakes the ETH into rsETH which is then deposited as collateral, except it turns out rsETH used a cross-chain bridge called LayerZero that was hacked by north koreans causing rsETH to become undercollateralized and now these looping positions are stuck and unprofitable, and everyone is pointing fingers at each other, and also DeFi is a very serious industry
Get Ready.. Prepare yourself to witness history unfold right before your eyes! 🚀
For the first time ever, the entire Orientale Basin, a massive and mysterious region on the Moon’s surface, has been fully captured thanks to the efforts of NASA’s Artemis II crew. This remarkable achievement marks a huge step forward in space exploration, revealing a breathtaking new view of our celestial neighbor. The clarity and detail in this historic image are absolutely stunning!
🌕🛰️ As we move further into space, it reminds us of the endless wonders still waiting to be discovered.
@GigiisTx1968@dom_lucre He just went to the same "home" that you'll go to when you die. The message of Jesus is entirely about losing your ego (death) and being born again (living without ego).
@mattpocockuk We've been stuck at 100k smart context for probably 18 months now. A real wall has been hit. I wonder if it's because the useful context window only increases with model size and they stopped scaling the size?
@unclebobmartin I have landed at the same conclusion. Architecture is the next frontier for AI to tackle, but as of now we don't get emergent architecture from AI coding.
@jianxliao You clearly applied to the wrong company. They're asking you to use a hoe when you have a tractor at your disposal. Only PM engineering and architecture matter now.
@unclebobmartin Do you have any plans of releasing your own coding agent skill packages? I think you'd probably create some of the best in the industry.
Five years out, when billions of coding agents exist, software development will be largely solved. The traditional moat of “we have better engineers” disappears. Products will be copied, improved, and open-sourced almost instantly. Defensibility will shift away from code itself, toward distribution, data, brand, and community.
