However you are yet to see a whole new use case.

THE MOTHER OF USE CASES..

It is no secret that the Gamefi industry has lost a lot of volume and interest. Axie flopped. Decentraland flopped. Sandbox flopped. It goes on.
But it's not because their games suck.

One key reason being the colossal drop in demand for NFTs, its instability and lack of liquidity. 

SBP’s pioneer Hybrid Gamefi model is changing this for the better.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙃𝙮𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙙 𝙂𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙛𝙞?

Hybrid Gamefi is the synergy of Gaming NFTs and their Tokens interconnected together in a game. Every single asset in a game is connected to the gaming token supply unlike games now where they are completely disconnected. 

Before ERC404, before SPL404, there was a true pioneer who invented Hybrid Defi. Many don't want to give credit to the original creators even though they were the first to introduce it to the masses. Shoutout @bozoHYBRID 🥰

Inspired by their invention, we decided to use their technology to move the needle forward in the web3 gaming industry. 

The current model within the industry seems to be a dual token system, a utility token for in-game transactions and a governance token, allowing players to influence the game’s direction. Key games that use this model include @AxieInfinity , @decentraland and @staratlas.

The question is, what if they applied this hybrid model? Let’s take @AxieInfinity for example. 

Axie has three assets. Their in-game token: SLP,  governance token: AXS and their NFT characters. These are all necessary components of their infrastructure.

Connecting their in-game token (SLP) to their NFT characters could fix all issues mentioned previously.

𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙨
By connecting NFTs to the token supply, two markets are effectively merged, increasing liquidity and volume, which also revives the game economy and player engagement. 
This also increases price stability substantially as seen with @bozoHYBRID price action on the Memecoin downturn compared to other projects.

By tying NFTs to the token supply, the game can control the scarcity of these assets. If an NFT is sold or traded, it would affect the overall token supply, similar to how removing gold from the market affects the total available gold.

This scarcity can drive up the demand and value of the in-game assets.
Finally, the price differences between NFTs and SBP tokens create potential arbitrage opportunities potentially attracting institutional traders.

This overall market efficiency will enable Gamefi projects to be more economically sustainable in varied market conditions, rather than being susceptible to one form of speculation destroying demand completely.

As all assets are now interconnected, there is a lot more flexibility within the gameplay experience. 

It is now possible to introduce tiered rewards, where governance token holders can access new in-game assets tied to their tokens, enhancing their value.
Tiered assets can also be introduced, which gives access to utility tokens based on player levels. 

In addition, the perceived value of NFTs would now have a direct impact on the game’s economy. Players would recognize the tangible value of their assets, which could lead to more strategic gameplay as they manage resources that have real-world economic implications.

Finally, average players will no longer be priced out.

Fractional ownership enabled by a hybrid model allows players to own portions of high-value NFTs, making premium assets more accessible. How? Since, NFTs are tied to Token Supply, a small ownership of governance tokens, means you now hold a fraction of the in-game assets.

For the first time ever, all of the benefits of the Hybrid Gamefi model will be seen in full force within our game.
