Bre Black shared the story of her and her husband's act of microneighbourliness - serving free coffee to her neighbours (30+ their first coffee day). #ldnont #placematters

[Jason Jordan @fallenight]

Living is a highrise, still can feel like a community; just like living on a street in a house with a front porch. It is all depending on the ways, one uses the space and treats others. #ldnont

[Jason Jordan @fallenight]

Pop-up free coffee shop, front porch concert, public seating; how can you use your property to improve community connections? #ldnont

[John Fleming, MCIP, RPP @jmfplan]

An event like today’s Place Matters Conference only happens when community members decide to put in a lot of hard work. See organizers @HeenalR & @WesKinghorn rehearse before others arrive. #ldnont is so lucky to have them in our midst. Great event! Congrats to ALL involved.

[Stephen Turner @st3v3turn3r]

Now on a walking tour of @oevca. Almost a Jane’s Walk kind-of-feel. Taking in the impressive array of mosaic art along the way.

[City of Neighbours Day @100In1DayLdnOnt]

Anyone interested in taking part in #CityOfNeighbours Day 2020? Next summer is looking pretty good 😉 #ldnont

[Urban League London @ULLdn]

Heenal from @reimagineco_ & organizer of @100In1DayLdnOnt with a prom about how we can be neighbours 365 days of the year. Just put your action & activities out there and make some community happen! (Especially letting people pet your pets!) #ldnont

Crystal shares how her community runs Block Parties, food trucks and movie nights in their neighbourhood to build connections to her neighbours. Importance of NeighbourGood helping with resources and the movie night setup. @LDNeighbourGood @100In1DayLdnOnt @CityofLdnOnt #ldnont

[Old East Village CA @oevca]

At #PlaceMatters today with folks from neighbourhoods all over #ldnont. Hearing how small efforts in neighbs -- micro-neighbourliness -- can have tremendous impact. @stevemacdouell cites a friend on the "compound interest of neighbourhood presence."
