Whoever predicted that appointing Asha Sharma as CEO was Microsoft sunsetting the XBOX brand were probably spot on, at this point.

Need to come back to Twitter to say that the XBOX Activision-Blizzard-King deal was the worst thing to happen to gaming in the past decade.

Everything since that deal closed has been absolutely nothing but negatives for the game industry and all of their internal studios.

✅Cambridge, England-based Ninja Theory, the maker of Hellblade, is also in conversations with Xbox, as are several other studios across the portfolio that are at risk of being shuttered.

✅The studios may still have the opportunity to buy themselves back from Xbox and go independent, although many employees will likely lose their jobs as a result

⚠️TYLENOL & AUTISM—RFK Jr and Trump are wrong—the largest & best study in the world in 2.5 MILLION KIDS—found no increased autism risk with acetaminophen (aka paracetamol, Tylenol) use by the mother during pregnancy.
