Due to improving conditions, but still with a fire risk in place, Rocky View County has downgraded the full Fire Ban, to now a Fire Advisory, effective 8AM September 20. See image for details.

Due to current fire risk and weather forecast, as of 8:00 AM Sept 1, Rocky View County Fire Services has declared a full Fire Ban. Please exercise caution while in the fields, and thank you to all farmers who have helped with some of our local fires over that past couple of days

Due to improving conditions, as of 2PM Aug 23, Rocky View County has downgraded the Fire Ban to now a Fire Advisory. Burn permits and Fireworks are still prohibited due to the current fire risk.

Effective at 2:30 August 9, Rocky View County Fire has issued a Fire Advisory for the East side of Rocky View. This now means that both West and East divisions of Rocky View are under the Fire Advisory. Please see image for details.

Incident number 3 due to roads. Use caution on the roads. Highway 9 and approximately range road 270/Township Road 264. Roads are a skating rink. Thank you Volker for sanding 3 times while we were on scene, we needed it.

Crews are back in station after two separate MVCs on highway 567. Use extreme caution while driving. Plows have been out, and are still out, but winds are blowing snow hard, making it look like the road is untouched.
