@DKThomp Example: This weekend I scheduled to change oil in my car. It proactively found the oil type, quantity, filter part, crush ring, etc., asked if I had inventory, to which I confirmed that I needed the oil. It confirmed what store was available at low cost for me. 10/10 experience.
@DKThomp To be honest, my OpenClaw is "programmatically" pretty close to there. It's still .md files and automations, but it is PROACTIVELY looking via gog at my schedule and identifying advanced moves (conflict identification, gates for success, etc.).
@honor_dennis@SharonW27908658@oelma__ Depends on what you value. For us, paying the mortgage (set up ACH autopay took 10 mins tops, view email twice a month for 5 seconds maybe?) is easier (less time and effort intensive) than buying toilet paper. Just because the amount is larger doesn't mean it's "bigger".
@tweethue@jorisroovers The number of benefits that outweigh local control and privacy is zero. If they never connect to the internet they can't be exposed to anything nefarious.
@KEEMSTAR Went to buffalo wild wings and their special of the month was bud light. The bartender said they couldn't move it even with it being the cheapest on the menu...
@trendready@SouthwestAir I fully agree. My wife and I recently went down to Puerto Rico and on our return flight paid for upgraded seats. We were A7/A8 and more than 25 people boarded before us. It felt "off" to me for sure.
@MCO how is it possible that my wife and I had a great dinner in a different terminal then somehow took a tram and got FORCED from tram exit outside security and missed our flight. Had plenty of layover time and tickets ready to go but were not allowed to return to other gate!
