@Reardon07@VOCMNEWS Oh and according to Government neither uber or Lyft have submitted a request for their ride share company to work in the province. Minister said that Friday in a statement. Just saying.
@PamelaG05998526@Reardon07@VOCMNEWS Bring it on. Doesn’t matter to me. All I am saying is they use population and ability to make money. That doesn’t meet their criteria for St. John’s and metro. But I welcome them
@VOCMNEWS Things have gotten better and have changed. Cab systems ate same as Uber andLyft now with apps and tracking. Drivers are mandated to give driving abstracts and criminal records to companies. Well I lnow for sure Jiffy. My dad was there for 30 years
@VOCMNEWS Ask Danny Breen. He was the so called leader for ride share. Say what you want but at least “LOCAL” cab companies are checking on drivers and are held accountable. 400 cabs in St. John’s and Breen says lets do ride share. Maybe we should do mayor share for he’s stupidity
@TimHortons roll up the rim is a scam. As a frequent customer( up to 4 coffee’s a day) I saved up my roll ups and had 10 consecutive roll ups and not one winner. Tims you can do better!!!!! 😡total winners so far….. 3 coffee and one donut.
@CarlaCrotty@stjohnsairport The problem is that it is on a contract and the company holding that contract can’t service it properly. City Wide, Budgens and Newfound all service that contract. Good Luck with getting them to answer a phone
@CityofStJohns @jamiekorab big thanks to the curb side pickup person. Thank you for coming and getting the brown bagged grass. Quick to criticize and quick to thank. 🙏😁
@CityofStJohns @jamiekorab Grab the bag and it rips so leave it. I understand your busy at collection but this is part of the job. I did my part by bagging it up and laying it out! City says I should store it in a dry place and no equipment on truck. My problem now!!
Video from earlier, at the onset of the standoff that unfolded between @Mount_Pearl and CUPE local 2099 members. Here we see members burning their contracts in dissatisfaction. @VOCMNEWS
so come get it “he wasted to much time already on it”. Than told me he wouldn’t go for a test ride with me cause he got 40 years in the field and don’t need me to diagnose it for him”. I gingerly told him he was deaf if he couldn’t hear it.
D Kelsey Auto 880 Topsail Road
biggest bunch of douche bags!Wouldn’t bring a wheel barrel there. Had my rig there 3 times for a loud noise in front and buddy told me he couldn’t hear it. Warranty work see. Told me he don’t get paid to check my car only if there is work to be done
@kristinaennis@z56cjt@oneillyatescbc@stjohnsairport@CBCNL Hard to do when you have eastern health, all hotels and the need for drivers. They have the majority of contracts in the city. That’s why mount pear and paradise can’t get cabs
@kristinaennis@opinionsaplenty@oneillyatescbc@stjohnsairport@CBCNL There is no doubt at peek times during a day you may have to wait longer. But rest assure most cab drivers are making less than minimum wage, especially during levels 3&4, even before that if they worked 12 hours they possibly made 100. Adding cars for peek times is a good idea.
