Now, it's, I shipped 4 features, validated, simulated and documented them.

@reidhslaughter @KatDoes3D There is this trope that AI does all thinking, design, iteration and refinement and it isn't genuine "work". Often propagated by the same individuals that say it can't do basic math or reasoning.

The simple truth is that it just saves time and effort on menial tasks.

Early morning US hours they are usually purring and incredibly efficient. Late morning-early evening EST, I don't even bother anymore. Friday and Saturday, don't bother using.

@FiftyMP4 About 10 years there was a massive shift in how artists carried themselves, how much they charged, and their quality of work. It is a godsend that they have largely been entirely replaced by AI in both 2D and 3D.

@johncrickett Folks also are quick to forget that everyone programmer I have ever met shits on other people's code. Because it isn't theirs, it isn't their style, their train of thought. AI is no different.

@johncrickett A lot of these pretend that a human isn't driving the AI. An intelligent person with a decent understanding of systems(not just SWE-systems, just a systems person) can ask the right questions, and build a solid product. Bad AI code is either old(1+ year ago), or is bad design

@saad_78619 @MSiekmoeller Project Totality should wipe that away, to be honest. I felt like I wasted my time 10 years ago when a simple bug took up hours of my time, AI has made me realize how much time was actually wasted.

@MSiekmoeller Coding/Engineering has never been about the code, in my opinion. You can now create the things you've always wanted to at a truly blistering pace that was impossible 5 years ago.

@BellaBaelfire @CtrlAltDwayne That have built incredible programs and systems, that are as airtight as anything I have seen, just by knowing the questions to ask and doing it. And to be honest, they are at the point where there is no stage where they need to "bring in a professional". Its just not needed.

@BellaBaelfire @CtrlAltDwayne The incredible thing is that it can be done with intelligence, and computer knowledge. This is not joe schmoe off the corner, but someone that knows computer, kinda can guess at what the needs are, and ask the right questions. I have two friends that are not coders

@vibecodado @blueemi99 This is one of my biggest issues. I have my claude reset dates on Sunday, when I want them. Knowing that a natural reset will land on a Saturday, and they'll probably do another reset within a day or two is really obnoxious.
