@GalleryMagick @MetaMask Storing your seed phrase on a device (whether phone or computer) is always high risk imo. You might not know if your device is compromized.

If you protect your MM with a hardware wallet such as @Trezor or @Ledger the risk is significantly lower.

@womancalledwild @Serpent If the MM's seed phrase had been stored on your phone or computer at some point I wouldn't use it tbh. I would at the very least transfer everything to another MM that's protected by a hardware wallet.

You never know if your phone or computer was / is compromized.

Stop storing stuff in hot wallets that are only secured w/ seed phrases!

Countless people fall victim to phishing scams and malware every day.

Seed phrases stored on your phone / computer are easily compromized.

Get a @Trezor / @Ledger / other cold wallets and use passphrases!
