@padar_educ307 I could only imagine the uproar lol. Such as shame, hope that our generation and our progressive thoughts help change the narratives and status quos in animation!
#lesson12 Another consistent portrayal within Disney movies is the non-existence of LGBTQ+ peoples and subjects. It's 2020 while all other industries have begun to include this community, Disney has not.
@gabyborrelli Additional to that, we need to teach children to listen. We live in an age of "Well I think" and sometimes, we learn a lot more through listening and interpreting information. Individual growth and knowledge doesn't always need be expressed!
@VidurjanTharma1 Yes! And honestly its been really refreshing to see companies starting to accept and change their ads to include different body types and conditions.
@juliana86506656 Society has definitely not gotten rid of it, however, I do think that Disney has a responsibility to change the status quo that they themselves are responsible for creating. They ultimately have the resources to include better representation within the films they create.
@fayswey And to imagine that big corporations have been asking the government for bailouts and actually have been receiving the aid. It's really hard to see the inequality going on
@MugandaGlory I celebrated back in October and even at that time we didn't see anyone. I did bring extra food over to my nephew but only waved at him from the car. Missing everyone tho!
@AnnaGyorgy3 A ton more respectful in person. Theres a lot of misunderstanding that can happen online, and also just the anonymity and trolling can create a really toxic debate environment
@DEduc307 I understand its for safety, but I was at the mall the other day and it makes no sense how 2000 people can be inside an indoor mall, and yet restaurants can't remain open. Doesn't seem fair
@IaboniAmanda I actually so much prefer papers, it's longer to do but it means i actually end up learning the material and analyzing it rather than memorizing and throwing it all over an exam forgetting about it 5 minutes after I'm done lol.
would you pay a social media website like a Netflix membership if you could ensure your personal info would be safe and you wouldn't be targeted by ads? Which socials would u pay for if so?
@alexandragirou6 HAha i think equally it was kinda fun to see me be cringy with peace signs and wear neon shirts. Defs not pics that will get us good careers haha .
